What a crock of shiite!
Not sure why you are worried; this is the one you appealed and got no POPLA code for, and the BPA are investigating.
thanks everyone for your help!0 -
Don't worry about either of them. You are awaiting a NTK for the PCN one.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just remember, this is very very very likely to be a scam. They will feed you a lot of bovine excrement. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

Update guys - PCS have followed up on the previous email they sent me with a POPLA verification code. Still awaiting NTK for the windscreen one so that I can appeal it.I have read before that the POPLA code must be sent within 35 days. Assuming that my appeal date (03/01/22) was day 1, the POPLA code sent to me on 07/02/22 is day 36.Could I argue that the POPLA code was also not sent in the required time frame?0

UPDATE:
Hi all. DRP have just gotten back to me with the following email.
———
Good afternoon,It has been brought to my attention via correspondence from the BPA that PCN [NUMBER OMITTED] incorrectly escalated to debt recovery before your appeal was dealt with.
I apologise for this administrative error and as a result I have cancelled your parking charge.
This now brings the matter to a close.
Kind regards,
[NAME OMITTED]

Thank you all for your help and special thank you to @Coupon-mad for providing me with Sara’s email address at the BPA.
I will let you all know once I have received the NTK for the other one.

Are you sure the cancellation is from DRP? It's normally only the PPC that can cancel a PCN, after all it is their charge, not DRP's. Have a close look at who it's from again. You might also want to check the PPCs website to get the current status of the PCN.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
