There still seems to be no announced end date for the stamp exchange scheme. Fairness would suggest it should be indefinite, like banknotes with the Bank of England, but are there any whispers about an end date?0

I expect they will announce an end date in January when the new stamps are the only ones available.Doc_N said:There still seems to be no announced end date for the stamp exchange scheme. My guess is it will be one further year so basically January 2024.0 -
Yes albeit mine has been less days compared to yours. I didn’t take pictures so am entirely reliant on them sending the stamps out in due course (assuming not lost or nicked)BarkingMad said:I sent around £20 worth to the swap out address on 25 Aug. I called the RM CS telephone number on 13 Sep and they couldn't give me any update. A tweet to RM was answered that "the aim to swap out was 7 working days but please allow longer due to high volumes". Now the 27 Sep and still nothing. Is everyone else seeing the same delays. With no tracking and no information on the RM website it's difficult to know when to claim for "lost in post" - or how to claim "for lost in post"I have got proof of posting and pictures of stamps and swap out form for backup0 -
I wonder if there's something tucked away in the float details that might require it though, given that RM are on record in the past as stating that decimal stamps had no end date for use.custardy said:

I would very much doubt it.Doc_N said:

Especially given whats going on at RM just now.
Slash and burn. I expect them to be floating the idea of chopping up the group in 2023.
They have already seperated GLS within the group.0 -
I also sent in £40 worth 4 weeks ago tried phoning last week over 50 min on phone not free call only to be told they cant help and it was my fault for waiting on the phone for no help when i asked for some stamps to compensate for the wasted call ,they said they would look into it and call me back last fri , of course they did not , suggest you are careful with them as there is very little comeback if they can not find themjiggy2 said:

That was 29th Sep. Today, I received an email
I replied saying they hadn't told me anything I didn't really know. The T&C's still state the aim for swap out is 7 working days - last updated at the end of September. https://www.royalmail.com/sites/royalmail.com/files/2022-09/Stamp_Swap_Out_Terms_and_Conditions_last_updated_29_September_2022.pdfI did suggest the should be updated.
