Yes - It's on the list at https://www.royalmail.com/sites/royalmail.com/files/2022-03/Stamp-Images-for-swap-out.pdfkalsha said:Hi, Can someone tell me if this stamp can be swapped?
You might get 2x £5 barcoded as a replacement as there is no new barcoded £10 or you might get a lot of barcoded second class...I need to think of something new here...0 -
Is htere any chance this is worth more than face value? I know that most stamps are not worth their nominal value, but I imagine that this one is possibly fairly unusual and only produced in small quantities.kalsha said:Hi, Can someone tell me if this stamp can be swapped? It is a mint 1993 Britannia £10 stamp. I am sure someone had posted something about a similar stamp but I can't find it now.
So question is has anyone been successful in swapping this stamp?

Thank you for the prompt reply. What about these regional ones and higher value ones? Shame that I will be breaking up the presentation packs but they are not fetching much on Ebay.NBLondon said:

All swappable. The High Values will be replaced by barcoded equivalents, the rest by their equivalent in barcoded 2nd class. If you've got a lot of the regionals you could use some combinations to make up postage then swap the rest. e.g. 2x28p + 39p = 95p 1st Class ( Try https://stampulator.sroot.eu/ )kalsha said:

I see the Daily Express is publishing misleading information about the validity of existing stamps. In a few months' time Queen Elizabeth II stamps will no longer be valid, according to Royal Mail.To be clear, the passing of Queen Elizabeth II has changed nothing (yet) with regards to validity of stamps and so the only stamps which will become invalid in a few months time are those definitive stamps which Royal Mail announced would be invalidated at the start of 2022 - this does not affect all QEII stamps, as insinuated by the above sentence.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j2

That's the Express comic for you. About as reliable for facts as a Russian news bulletin.Money_Grabber13579 said:I see the Daily Express is publishing misleading information about the validity of existing stamps. In a few months' time Queen Elizabeth II stamps will no longer be valid, according to Royal Mail.To be clear, the passing of Queen Elizabeth II has changed nothing (yet) with regards to validity of stamps and so the only stamps which will become invalid in a few months time are those definitive stamps which Royal Mail announced would be invalidated at the start of 2022 - this does not affect all QEII stamps, as insinuated by the above sentence.3 -

Given the way that the SwapOut scheme has been misreported, it's not at all surprising.I need to think of something new here...0 -
I made an erropr of judgement and returned Ist Class large stamps and 12 2nd class regular for exchange. The 1st class large were exchanged but Royal mail informed me that me 2nd class stamps were not genuine and they wouldn't exchange them nor return them to me. For security reasons that are not prepared to say how they know, only that they have high tech tests. I'm not giving up, this isn't the B. o. E.1

Where did you get the 2nd class stamps from? Is there a possibility the Royal Mail is correct?

I doubt it. These were purchased for use by a charity ( Kicks Count ), I'm the ancient packing and postal boy. We hadn't purchsed 2nd class regular for a long time as we generally use 2nd Class Large. We always purchsed from the local Post Office until it closed, and then online from R.M. These were not purchased online. But, if they are not genuine stamps, why can't I be give an explanation as to how and why they decided to confiscate them, Why haven't the police been round to check out my " operation " here. This amounts to £8.16. It goes a bit deeper than that for me.0
