I’ll wait to see if I get my special delivery cost refunded, the form was very clear - if you added the value of the postage to the form it would be refunded. Got my first batch of stamps back today. The letter said that they had included an extra £6.85 worth of stamps to cover my Special Delivery cost.Unfortunately the extra stamps were missing - so it has cost me £6.85 to swap my stamps.
So I lose £6.85, and Royal Mail make £6.850 -
So you aren't going to bother phoning them and asking them for the misisng stamps? Likely 2 different departments. The label form, which I would assume is the standard picking form for RM stamps, only has the swap out items listed. Just another badly thought out and poorly implemented RM system - would anyone have expected anything different ?

Yes, but they aren't going to answer the phone over the bank holiday, so I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that they refund me. I think they shoud accustom their staff to the rules.soolin said:

Then 2 different people / rooms / desks, receipt / logging and picking / dispatch. There is nothing on the packing slip to suggest that the recompense stamps should be picked although the included letter states that additional barcoded stamps to the value of £6.85 are enclosed. It looks like they have failed to set up the system to cover it.custardy said:

They have also launched a few new initiatives alongside slashing/disenfranchising their entire managerial staff.
As you can imagine. many are treading water whilst waiting to find out if they actually have a job and what job that is.
