PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.
We're aware that some users are experiencing technical issues which the team are working to resolve. Thank you for your patience.

It depends what they want and how many houses of that size are in your area.
You face waiting unless you find a chain free property. Trust me though, if you are having trouble waiting now, this is only the beginning.. waiting for other people is how chains go and it is hard!
I mean how hard is it too send an email saying what's happening! I'll be glad to see the back of this process, if we ever get there!
far off completing soon.We didn’t wait for the chain to complete so cracked on so we did end up paying £1000 for solicitor fees, searches and a survey.Always up to you how you want to proceed it’s either potentially lose some money by starting your process or cut ties early and try finding a property with no chain.I believe everything is meant to be and will work out. We have found a lovely family home walking distance from my sons school.0 -
