Their is no money to be made now in the photocopier / printer businesses, long gone the days when it would cost you a 1p a click in a water tight 5 year contract. Office base business tend to use the scan features more then the actual printing. To get around this they will charge you for the scanning usage, wear and tear.

Installed HP cartridges(£20 black and colour from Amazon) and after a reset my printer is up and running again. That's just over 6 months at HP's £2.99. Will see how long they last at my very sporadic printing needs.0
