@ coupon-madThank you very much for your suggestions. I shall be sure to incorporate them.@Coupon-mad said:...wait for more advice from @DisruptiveLad:

Read it!
Please also answer his question, he has info to help you:Where on the complex was this PCN issued? After a brief exchange of short PMs I had formed the impression that @DisruptiveLad was familiar with the layout of LJLA. If Para 3 of my defence is insufficient I shall gladly provide more details.

Well VCS' legal team did send me all the pics! Seriously though, depending on where the 'contravention' happened, there MIGHT be questions about red-line legality. That's all I'm offering.2

Hi VeryOldBaileyVeryOldBailey said:- I have a copy of the Liverpool Airport byelaws from 1982, 2019 and the draft byelaws of 2021. If necessary, can I asert that the 1982 version applied at the time of the contravention and leave VCS to prove that they weren't?
Where can i find a copy of these please, your case sounds very similar to mine.
Thanks1 -
Auntie Google provided some links when I asked specifically this link: -Rileymark1 said:

Google is your friend, just like Alexa, it can answer most questions. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

Having had an exchange of emails with customer services at LJLA, this is the text of the latest:Without Prejudice
The Airport’s contract regarding operating the Red Route is subject to confidentiality provisions and we are therefore unable to provide a copy. I can confirm that Liverpool Airport is willing to cooperate with any disclosure application which is made as part of any court proceedings. How does one go about making an application for disclosure?0 -
You can't but that contract is surely shown on loads of LJLA threads over the years.
People have obtained it during court cases.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am beginning to draft my witness statement and have hit my first problem so would be grateful for your advice. In my Defence I admitted that I was the registered keeper. In my WS:
- If I was the driver, should I reveal that fact, or should I say 'The driver did this...'?
- If I know who was driving should I reveal that fact e.g. 'My wife did this...' or should I again stick to 'The driver did this...'?

1. Please re-read my reply on your thread on 26 January at 10:01PM.
2. Stick to "the driver did this...".

@KeithP Thank you again for your response, Keith. I followed your advice in my Defence, just wasn't sure if it held true for the WS.To be honest, I was a little bit spooked by the response from RedX that followed yours:
I interpreted it as meaning that things might not go so well for me in court after I'd given a truthful answer because I hadn't disclosed the information in the documentation.Ignorance might be bliss but it can be very nerve-wracking too!Redx said:1) The big BUT is the honest truthful answer to this question if asked in court under oath
Mr Bailey , were you the driver on the day ? Yes or No ? ( Or the driver is unknown ? )
