I read this and was horrified.
I genuinely do not understand why who you sell your house to really matters, you won’t be living there any more.I’m glad the EA removed this property from their books. Hopefully no other EA will take it on but I can’t see that happening11 -
They could have gone about it a better way.
It is discrimination but if they were not informed would not have caused any issues.
Likely more common than we know and could be discrimination because of race, status etc0 -

To say they are wrong based on their religious beliefs is discrimination in itself. Its an unpleasant scenario.5 -
There is no place for discrimination for any reason. Thankfully, on the whole attitudes are changing, especially among the youngest generations of society.
I'm sure the couple will probably find a better home in due course.0 -
"we would be unwilling for two men in a partnership to view or buy our house. As it is contrary to the gracious teaching in God's Word, the Holy Bible, e.g. Romans 1:24-28 and Jude (King James Version)."
Ah yes, "if man shall lie with man, though shalt reject requests for their house viewing via Purplebricks' app".
I trust they have been just as diligent in vetting all other viewers for other types of "sinfulness". Or maybe this is just good old-fashioned bigotry rather than any genuine spiritual belief?18 -
Time for all other right-minded viewers; straight, gay, whatever - to refrain from viewing their house, then..... total boycott.1
