New Santander switch offer available - Jan 22

Looks like a new offer is now available:

Alas appears to exclude those that got the offer at the end of last year:

2.2  You and everyone to be named on the Qualifying Account  will need to:
2.2.1  be a UK resident;
2.2.2  not have previously received or  participated in any other  incentive for  switching to any of our  accounts or any account  with cahoot  or  Cater  Allen which are part of Santander  UK plc; 

Did anyone get bonuses for both sole and joint accounts in last years offer, as we only switched a joint so might try for soles....?

Switching a joint account before any solo is a mistake.
Term 3.3 is clear on this, if you switched a joint then neither party to the joint will qualify for a sole switching incentive.

"We will make one Cashback Payment only, even if more than one Qualifying Account is opened and/or switched into by you or one of the joint holders. If you open the Qualifying Account in joint names and all of you have qualified for the Switcher Offer and the Cashback Payment, then we will make one Cashback Payment only into that Qualifying Account. We will not make any other payment and you and any joint account holder(s) will not be entitled to more than this one Cashback Payment between you.

PS ...nothing stopping you trying though, Santander has been known to be lax enforcing their terms.

I got the amazon refer a friend vouchers a few years ago. I assume that won't stop me getting a bonus via this scheme?

Even if they did, it wouldn't necessarily  mean that you would... or they would this time.. hence the answer .

Term 2.2.2 seems to imply you wouldn't qualify, but that term was in the last £130 offer and we had many confirmations that 'Amazon Bonanza' switchers still qualified...

I wouldn't assume that at all. The terms state you are only eligible if you:

2.2.2 not have previously received or participated in any other incentive for switching to any of our accounts or any account with cahoot or Cater Allen which are part of Santander UK plc

Which would seem to include the amazon vouchers which were undeniably a previous incentive for switching.

However I hope someone will confirm what happened in Santander's autumn offer, which said the same thing and some people who had had the amazon vouchers did try it.

Certainly I did get the amazon vouchers a few years ago AND the most recent £130 switch incentive.

So? Is anyone going to try get another bonus? I received £130 in November, so I don't qualify, but maybe someone wants to try and see if they'll get another bonus?
