Welcome Bugalugs. Congrats to Mr Pigpen on his new job - I hope he's enjoying the training. I'm with 02 too. Hang on in there Pigpen - you're amazing. If you're in receipt of support from your local Foodbank, ask them if they can supply a fuel voucher - they're worth £40 at ours). Very belated happy birthday to Miss Fayolle. Hugs for Dizzy, ASB, YL and Ionafan.Still working on the basis that I will clean for 5 minutes a day and no more. Currently in credit to the tune of next Friday. That'll do. Those 5 minutes are only for jobs I procrastinate over - dusting, vacuuming, floor washing etc. Those that I don't mind just get done, so things are looking rather better than they have here for quite some time.I'm still sorting out a space a day. Today it's medicines, which are a shameful mess. The medicine cupboard had something in it that expired in 2013, something else from 2014 plus several from the intervening years up to 2019, and a few things since. *fling*
Better is good enough.11 -

Hi all
Sorry I’ve been awol, this week has been a trial, but I made it through and it’s Friday. Woot woot. Mr BC going away on a mercy mission tomorrow so he’s just packing, I’ve made a list for my weekend. House looking ok as some rage cleaning has been done in the evenings, have a load of other things to tackle though.
but that’s all for tomorrow, tonight is feet up and relax.
hugs to all x12 -
Hi all
Blimey you have had a week Pigpen. Hope the weekend is a bit easier x
Good day at the paid stuff here, and I went for brisk half hour walk when I finished at 3pm. Some bits of flying to do but that will get sorted tomorrow. The boiler has been serviced which is good and I have money set aside for the bill.
Stuffing my face with Christmas chocolate that I had squirreled away and eating crisps. Fire lit and telly on. Not a bad end to the week.13 -

Morning all,
A sad end to a difficult month, as yesterday was the funeral of BF’s DD. So sad, so unnecessary. So…all flying was cancelled this week, now I am on catch up, but with very bad grace. The wm is running, I need to flick a duster around the obvious surfaces and trundle out the vacuum cleaner. I’m sure that there is a HHI lurking, and other odd jobs - throw out dead flowers, find a home for the jars of marmalade which are still cluttering the kitchen surface for starters. There is also some of the never ending admin that needs seeing to.
We are out for a bite to eat this evening with some friends, so I need to buck my attitude up before then.
Love to all xx10 -
Fayolle.. it is so awful I know.. I hope the young lady got the beautiful send off she deserved and her family and friends find comfort together (((hugs)))
Squeak deposited.. itching to pick her up.. it is so weird not having her here!
I hung 4 tthings on the line for the first time in months... now it looks like rain is imminent!
