Not really, we are expecting a hefty utility bill any day.. We haven't had a bill since October when our company went under and the new one have still not got their act together.. he has to pay that! We will ask if we get very desperate but I have managed on less. I can skip mortgage payments if necessary but would have to make them up when he is paid.. we have a little flexibility but it is going to be a killer month again. The 3 large beasts will be paid in the meantime so pay board.

girls collected and dinner cooked and eaten.. apart from Boog.. apparently nothing is good enough.. I did chilli, hotdogs and burgers.

DS2 was just leaving with Squeak as we got back from school and OH has just gone to pick them up.

I need to sort a close budget for the weeks food.. I cannot meal plan because I am weird and never know what I might fancy.. I might do a click and collect tbh.. can I feed 10 of us for a week for £80 I wonder (that's this weeks ebeast money.. supposed to be for holiday spending but needs must.. can't have a holiday if we all starve to death!)

Work has been busy but pleasantly so. Today is T's official last day but she is working a couple of Bank shifts with us next week and the week after. It occurred to me when I woke up at 5am!!!.....that on Tuesday there will only be me and the newby, who started last week and can't access the database yet,  to cover the whole Service. Having said that there's only myself and T today - and we have to cover Reception too as the receptionist is on Annual Leave. Who makes this up? Roll on half past four and WEEKEND woot woot. Note to self: I must not resign. Channelling my inner Valli 😉

Flywise: my bed is made,  I'm dressed and I've eaten my breakfast. Minimum pack up required as we're having T Bell for T's leaving lunch. I'm thinking that I'll just have the chips so as to not completely blow my weight loss plans. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off. And I need to ring and rearrange the boiler service because they want to come on Wednesday and I'll be at work. I'll offer them any Monday they care to choose 🙂.

Squeak finding the bits for her science class so that is her sorted until 11am... and she has to clear the kitchen table.. and she can feed the spaghettis their breakfast.

OH made a cuppa.. I need to drink it!

I am so stuffy today I may need additional medication to deal with that.

I started knitting a hat last night which is my 'pottering about' project and I need to start another baby cardigan for Miss Hee (DD1's friend I have known since she was 13) It is her baby shower on the 12th and I want 3-4 cardigans done for her.. I've done one so far.

The usual round of WM, DW, TD, airers needs shuffling though and Moomin has dentist at 1:40.

I have Lionel for an hour this afternoon and I need to trundle to Dunelm at some point to pick up some little lights.. reduced from £4 to £2.80 so nice cheap stocking fillers.. yes I mentioned christmas shopping in January!

£80 transferred to OH which covers his outgoings for the remainder of the month.. which leaves £80 for food for the week.. so this is going to be fun.. We need at least £20 for bread/milk so.. a mini-mini top up it is!

Morning all I don't post much but I do read and I fly most days..

I've walked round the house this morning and I just want to cry upstairs the kids rooms are worse than I thought so I need to try and tackle a few areas of the house today. I also have loads of laundry to do. I'm off today so I'm going to give myself till the kids bedtime to get done what I can . Dp is free today too so he can help and once the kids are home they can help too. I'm not doing it all on my own Im not the only one who lives here. I've made a list so I'll crack on. Builder type person who didn't turn up earlier this week, and arranged to come at 10.30am today, has now just phoned to say he will be here at 12.20!, pain in the !!!!!!.

Food order done.. £46 and should do the week bar any bread/milk/fruit/veg. I will have OH fetch a bag of potatoes, they are quite versatile I find.. I will sling corned dog in the SC on Sunday while we are out (taking the girls to the beach again) and that should feed OH most of the week. I have gammon and pork and chicken and chicken b00b in the freezer and some mince so we should be ok until the 12th when Meem and Boog give me quids.

Just wondering if I should see if I can move the phone DD to the 12th rather than the 8th.. I will do that I think..
