The cable from the consumer unit to the charger now also has protection. (was that necessary?)Whether or not the changes he's made are good practice and/or compliant with the regs would make for a fine debate....But if he's fitted a RCBO as well as the disconnector then the cost of parts will be significantly more than the £7.59 being discussed the other day.4

Sum total £259.20. Details of the part fitted have been drip fed via email afterwards.
