    Good evening All

We did a couple of shops on Sunday, at MrT's, spending £11.34 at the first branch (on two lots of toilet paper, 3 rolls of packing tape, some sweetners and some peppers).  What they didn't have were the shrink-wrapped double trays of tinned chopped tomatoes, currently on offer at 3-for-£1, so we popped to a different branch to buy them, spending £8 on 24 cans.  That's £2 more - 8p a can - more than we've paid when they've previously been on offer but, with rising food prices, I doubt they'll go back to 25p a can anytime soon.

I'm declaring for February at £137.84/£158.50, leaving £20.66 to roll forward to March.

Hi, @PipneyJane, don't know if you have a farmfoods near you. They've had tinned chopped toms at 25p, (even less if you can get staff discount). Strange foreign make, with english words stickered on top. Taste fine though, mumtoomany.xx

Thanks for the info @mumtoomany.  Sadly, I've never seen a branch of Farmfoods.  Looking at their map, the nearest branch is on the other side of London from us. :(  If I head that way, I'll definitely pop in.

Ah! Didn't realise you are down South, don't know where i thought you were. I think reading your fashion on the ration thread, I thought you were in a country village with a community hall. Maybe if you are this way, South West Wales, you can pop into ours, and call in for a cuppa. Mumtoomany.xx
