£47.05 In M0rr1es Sat to take advantage of the fuel offer, got 3 y.s. packs with 3 nice thick slices of shin, 1 is a decent portion for a single person stew, a y.s. chicken which made lunch for myself and S.I.L. yesterday, left her a chunk of breast for today, brought the carcass home, will have a dinner tonight, boil the bones tomorrow for a chicken soup. according to my spreadsheet I have just scraped in budget, although I am slipping up to chemist.
Do I need it or just want it.

What with the veg box, some wine, a drink with my Dad, and a lazy bought sandwich on Monday I'm now down to £2.94 for the rest of the month. I should just come in - the cupboards and fridge are very well-stocked and I have bread and milk. I do want my breakfast pastry for work on Monday (£1) but don't anticipate any other spends until March.
Ahem. Popping back to declare an overspend of £5.06 because I went up to Highgate on Saturday and ended up buying myself lunch.

I haven't had chance to read this month's thread. I will maybe do so shortly, as I can't sleep at the moment. So a bit of reading may help.
I'm under for this month. I spent £178.72 of £225. This is solely groceries, nothing else. With the impending price increases, I will keep it at this as it will cover any bulk buys also. Theoretically though I am going to aim to try and be between £180-200 each month.

    Off over to March now.
GC 2026 ~ Jan £213.45/180 Feb £180.21/£120 Mar £/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Two person vegan household, with occasional visitors)

Milk to add, but not sure of the cost! Sent OH twice. Two bottles from local shop then one from petrol station. Am calling it £5, till i get his credit card statement. Also did big shop for March on 28th February, we are going into town anyway. So £55.48 across three shops. Total for year now stands at £353.16/£2640. Not too shabby for two months in. We'll see how it continues with all the price increases. Mumtoomany.xx
