that seems quite good !!sammyjammy said:So I picked my Magic bag up, they were very friendly, I showed someone it on my phone and he said just wait here, he went out the back of the shop and came out with a bag for life, I said thank you and then he said oh hang on a sec, I thought he needed to do something through the till but he went to the bread section and put a loaf on top of my goodies.! Very kind.
Pizza Express Margarita pizza (small)
3 packs of spring onions
4 courgettes
punnet of green grapes
big bag of baby spinach
10 large tomatoes
cucumber (that's had to go straight in the compost but better than the bin!)
Hovis granary loaf

I just noticed on the app there is a section to click if you are vegetarian / vegan, not sure if this would affect what you are given?!0

I tried again on Sunday with a local store that usually sells out in under 5 mins but was a bit disappointed - the business in question clearly wasn't checking codes off and I have a suspicion that "regulars" had been taking advantage of this and collecting bags they hadn't ordered, so there was nothing to collect! I was refunded w/o question though. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Tried my local Costa: a sandwich, two sausage rolls and a piece of cake. It'll be eaten.0

I live in Birmingham and tried this at one of the many Starbucks. I got a bacon roll, a tomato and pesto panini and two ham and cheese croissants. Coming out at £1 each was not bad value given the RRP. However, I am vegetarian and my partner does not like bacon or cheese so I ended up giving the three meat options away.
I have looked at the vegetarian options and they are a little limited atm. Might be better in the future if the number of stores grow.0 -
I decided to have another go and opted for a local Polish supermarket that always has lovely fruit and veg, breads etc, so I was hopeful for fresh produce. I got a bag that was definitely over the value I paid, but was made up of pre-packaged snacks and sweets, one tub of cookies and a bottle of long life mixed fruit juice. Nothing that I would typically buy, to be honest.
I think I'll stick to Morrisons. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

I bought a Morrison's Magic bag (£3.09) at store on my long journey home this evening which was good value:
I whizzed round the store before I picked it up and did a YS shop for £5. For comparison:
The magic bag is better value! No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I placed a Costa order yesterday for this evening through sheer curiosity - I received the cancellation notice at the collection time. I can't imagine it would have offered fabulous value but I was interested enough to gamble £3.50.olgadapolga said:Tried my local Costa: a sandwich, two sausage rolls and a piece of cake.
