Has anyone here used Too Good To Go?

I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole, but the our local Toby is known to be deficient when it comes to hygiene ratings. I'd rather sit at home and eat a carrot.SUPERGIRL2020 said:Has anyone used this app and is it any good?
Ive just seen a sunday dinner on it at my local toby carvery for £3.29 seems too good to be true 🤷♀️No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Tell us what you find in your magic bag? I'm under the impression it's odds, sods and scrapings from other people's plates.SUPERGIRL2020 said:Oh no our toby is really nice but its too expensiveNo man is worth crawling on this earth.

Thanks for posting! That's a lot of food, but really not my kind of thing and I can see why its always going begging locally.
£10 would cover plenty of fresh fruit and salad. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

It was a one off treat as we rarely have a sunday roast and tbf it was nice but not enough gravy for 3 people lolRosa_Damascena said:Thanks for posting! That's a lot of food, but really not my kind of thing and I can see why its always going begging locally.

My Costa bag from today:

Bacon bap: £3.50
Salad: £4.10
Tuna melt panini: £4.40
Allegedly £12 of food, I'll have the salad tomorrow and give the other items away.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I would be delighted if I received that from a Toby Carvery, thanks for posting the images. I'm glad you took the plunge and treated yourself Supergirl2020. Like any chain of establishments, some are going to be better than others so no reason why a local carvery with a good reputation should be avoided.
Edit: I've just looked on the app and my local Toby Carvery has a 4.4 / 5 rating which seems OK to me. I've not used the app but look now and again to see if anything comes up of particular interest.2 -
Subway are doing magic bags now. Either £4.59 for a bag of subs, meat, salad bits, cookies and perhaps their meatballs. Collect late evening.
Or £2 for cookies and sub bag. Which I have ordered. My friend ordered one where she lives - 80 miles from me and she got 5 footlong breads and 6 cookies.
A footlong bread in a supermarket is 50p-80p1 -
I had a Toby carvery a while back with the app, it was about as much as in the picture. One lot at 3.50 ish was enough for two roast dinners. And they were also friendly and everything was bagged up ready.I also had one from M&S petrol station, a good amount of food and they were really friendly.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi1
