Eon Meter Issue

Yes that is from the last bill.bagand96 said:
That's what @MWT is after, but it looks correct for a metric m3 meter. Is that from one of the latest bills after your smart meters were installed?Philbellwood78 said:Is this it?

Gas meters record use in either metric units (m3) or imperial units (ft3). The supplier then converts this into kWh for the bill. What MWT suggested and I think I agree on is that EON may be applying the incorrect calculation to your gas meter readings.Philbellwood78 said:Hi Bagand96
Thank you for your response.
The measurements can get confusing what does that mean?
You kind of trust the guys that put the meters in did their job correctly and just tick along.
Do you have the calculation from the October bill you posted above?0 -

Did you change tariff for this period and then a new tariff on 22.12, which was identical in price?
I also notice a price difference on your gas for the same period.
They say we agreed to switch to the 2 year v18 but I can not recall as I have been ill for some time. but the unit rates have gone up a lot which raised the issues even more.
Your bill states that your current tariff ends on 10 Oct 23. SO it would have started around 11 Oct 21. Therefore, there should not be a price change from 22 Dec 21, which your bill states there is.

Sometimes I get the idea they try to confuse me and see what they can get away with. Then I speak to them and they claim everything is correct and it is normal usage.PennineAcute said:Philbellwood78 said:

Hang on a minute. Those meter numbers look like Liberty Secure meters. The gas meters show both kWh and cubic metres. You have to press 9 to get the cubic meter reading.

Yes that's what we were looking for. On second inspection it does look correct and that they are converting the readings from m3 to kWh using the correct calculation. So that may have been a red herring.Philbellwood78 said:These ones?
Still can't fathom how they got 195 kWh from the 11-14th October though, unless they've used different readings to the ones shown on your readings screenshot.0 -
I copied the reading straight from the bill downloaded from Eon now.
It helps my mental state that other people think it is strange.0 -
Are the meters communicating with Eon, or are you having to send your own readings?

Meters are connecting, I have not given them a reading in years.Verdigris said:Are the meters communicating with Eon, or are you having to send your own readings?
Heating just kicked in and I thought I would check the load on the meter. It is grinding and squeaking away reporting 26.04kWh of load.0
