ASB I hope DD is feeling better now. I have the tests that you order online, and they are nose only. Maybe see if anyone has any?
1st load of washing is drying, 2nd load in WM. DH has finished and will be home soon, so there will be more!
DW emptied, WULTD the rest. Kitchen surfaces & dining table have all been wiped down. I have also poo picked in the garden.
Next job, I think, will be get ready to go out & pick up a colour chart for the furniture paint 😁
I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and getting some down time 😊10 -
I've filled up with petrol and delivered A's birthday card. Pots are soaking.
I've brought down a bag from the stash to replace the bag with a torn lining and a broken zip which I've been using. Not counting it as a swallowed frog until contents have been switched across. Discarded bag will then be used to take books to cs - waste not, want not 😉.
Used disposable masks removed from my car and binned.
Next = WUDUPA, followed by clean out Sweetie.
asb - if everyone hops on board the bus after trying the scales we'll boob and have a party at yours before we all disperse back to our home counties with our eggs. Honestly, you only need to give me half an idea and I can run with it. 😊
Love to all

You are good friends, thank you for always being there when I need you.
So, I cleaned the kitchen including the washing machine drawer, dishwasher filter and door seals. Then had 20 minutes throwing weights around followed by 20 minutes yoga. After which DH dragged me outside with him to do a couple of hours gardening. I was very reluctant to do any gardening but it did me good. Feel a bit more positive.
A cup of tea now and then I will deal with a couple of things that need ironing, run the cordless hoover around upstairs, and might make some soup for lunches next week.11 -
ASB.. you don't really need to do throa swabs anyway. my 8 year old did her own too so she had control.. came up positive so clearly did a good job.Round.. if you want a week off we can just name you as a contact? lol.. You would not be the first to take advantage of that.
I have a flaccid body.. I just want to slob in bed and never move again..
I fed cats. and made a cuppa.. and ate an apple..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -
This weekend:elbree said:Morning! Freezing here on the south coast... 11 in my bedroom overnight 🥶
8yo with her dad this morning so making a plan in bed with a cuppa. Despite having a very busy week at school with parents evening and the like I have managed to do some little bits thanks to the lists inspiring me! Jobs like sewing a button onto my coat, I've been meaning to do this since September! It took me about 5 mins!! Why have I been putting it off all this time?!
This weekend:
-WM and DWx2-Recycling/rubbish-Usual trip to charity clothes bin
-Bed-Chat to little old lady (I'm a befriender)
-Wash the outside living room windows - this is my all time least favourite job! We live in one of those tall town houses and I have a long stick thingy but obviously have to do it on the street and I feel SUCH a berk!
-5 mins in the garden sweeping
-Clear the hallway
I also have a ton of marking to do which has to fit in somewhere! Anyway, by writing it down I hope to make it happen!
What's a frog by the way?

I also:
-Delimescaled shower head and various other parts of BR ✅
-Spent some time playing Sylvanian families so 8yo is happy✅- Batch cooked Chicken chasseur and lasagne for us and the freezer✅
-Moved a set of drawers and cleared some craft stuff - we have more than the average branch of WHSmiths! ✅
-Most school work completed, will do a few more books tonight after bedtime. ✅
🤔 Not done too badly this weekend but I can see I have two new frogs for my list. Sigh
How did you get on @roundtuit?10 -
elbree - wow. I'm tired just reading what you have done. Well done. But don't burn yourself out. I'm very much a plodder. I'm still thrilled that you motivated me to write my list of frogs after all my procrastination.
I've made a couple of subtle shifts since cleaning out Sweetie this afternoon. Hand wash now sat between the taps and not on the kitchen window sill. Hand cream removed from kitchen windowsill and placed on the table by my chair....where it will actually get used.
My orchid is flowering. Woot woot.
piggers - thank you but the cockwombles would simply send me for a PCR and I'd have to return to work as soon as I received a negative result. So I might get an extra day off but not a week. How are your chicks?

Clearly a popular night for the WAC club, hugs to any other worriers whether we have cause to or not; even imagined worries are real.
Looking forward to scales bus Round; I'm on the Herts/Essex border and will happily make flower arrangements to decorate the bus..........yes, we've all lost the plot.
Went to church this morning, bit peeved as it was my turn to make coffee. HIstorically we've used a large heavy urn but as there are so few of us now, I thought it would be much easier to just take my kettle along (urn is on a high shelf involving steps to retrieve it; then heavy to lug around, tradition has been to put it on before the service, turn it down part way through the service then turn it up during the last hymn......in my mind wasting a lot of electricity and water). So I got there early, armed with kettle, only to find some wanting-to-be-helpful person had already put the urn on. Bit petty to get peeved, I know.
Did a load more pruning.
Rang my mum.
Double checked HMRC account and seems the interest I thought they had charged by mistake is actually refund. I thought I'd paid the balance but can't find track of its exit from bank account, so have paid it for sure this time. Rather confused.
About to finish the sole remaining report then do some drum practice.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -

They live.. DS2's birthday was yesterday.. we are just all flippy floppy like wet slippers.
you don't need a PCR a positive lateral flow counts.. I'm sure we could come up with something illegal hahaha.. how bad do you want this week off? Though.. you'd probably fib and say you had the rona now and get it in 3 weeks time lol
I've not even got dressed today..
