Today will not be AF. Nor a NSD. In fact I only get 1/5 and that's for not napping.
I have put away the electric kettle and the slow cooker, helped DD2 make leek & potato soup for DH, and done some washing after a morning taking DD2 to drama and DS to Liddly.
DH is struggling with this round of chemo. I may have found a Ukrainian family to sponsor. It has been a lovely day here but very windy.

Sorry to hear DH is struggling this time round, its an awful situation and no mistake. Excellent news though, to have potentially found a Ukrainian family, I hope it works out.2023: the year I get to buy a car6

Sorry about DH. It’s just such a nasty treatment. Hope he’s feeling more himself very quickly.I didn’t realises you were looking to sponsor a Ukrainian family. What an amazing thing to do.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I hope it turns out that way!
I have been very lazy today. Got up early, did a load of washing and the dw then...stopped apart from collecting DD1 from the station.
Daughterofsatan has been doing escapology again. DH is a tad better today, he has eaten a bit more and was up for a couple of hours over lunch.
It's lovely weather but cold. Fire's lit.6 -
DH bad again today.
Dropped smallest people to school and eldest to station.
Someone coming to get one of my items in a minute. Some charmer tried to pull a scam on FB marketplace because I'd listed another item. Reported to fb and blocked.
Fire on DW on and WM is next in line. I've also done some planning for my home office and emailed my new boss.

Remember to take a bit of time for yourself - even if it's just admiring the bluebells or somethiing. Breathing. I'm sorry DH is bad again - I think because the treatment comes in such "lumps", so to speak, the days really vary. Sending gentle internet hugs.2023: the year I get to buy a car6

Thanks KC. I made a version of Jack Munro's mandarin and lentil curry for dinner. Used peaches instead and 7 thai spice instead of ginger since that's what we had. It was quite good. I ignored the conventional cooking instructions and just dumped all the ingredients in a pan, put the lid on and left it in the top oven for a couple of hours.
I have now ordered some gear for my office and found some curtains for the french doors, which I will collect next week when I'm in town. I will pay for them with the money from fb sales. I've got a curtain pole which I've had since (ahem) before first lockdown and is still in its packet.8 -
I've listed 5 items. I've also hatched a plan for the ex-airbnb annexe.
It involves expensive yellow velvet so I'm really going to have to raise some cash. It is a stunning day here.7 -
