@edinburgher Daughterofsatan is a 16 mo Labrador. She switched things up a bit this evening by knocking the kitchen bin over and removing the contents.

@twinklie I love a bit of new kit. In my current job I have to battle to get a laptop at all.

More of that on the cards today. Yesterday I was exhausted after doing comparatively little. I think I hurt my back carrying hay bales. I got grumpy and I've not been that for a while. Today I'm planning some downtime in the afternoon.

Before that, another attack on the kitchen!

I have banished DH and the dogs. Otherwise the dogs get in the dw.

Any top tips for getting limescale marks off a hard anodised kettle?

At least I think they're limescale but we're on clay so maybe not...

Try citric acid on the kettle. Either from a lemon or by making up a solution (buy food grade stuff and you can use the leftovers for elderflower cordial!).

Thanks @greenbee and @Karmacat yes I was quite relaxed.

DD2 had a not-good day at school, sadly.

Today we're taking her to drama and going to Liddly then a bit more kitchen decluttering. I may have wine tonight, woohoo!
