We do have a microchip cat flap, so I know that no one can follow them into the house, and I'm pretty sure they know that. I'm considering getting another one in case the mean cats try to prevent them coming in.
We have a microchip cat flap too and I have seen the really aggressive one from next door come flying in immediately after Chloe, before the flap has had the time to re-set. Fortunately, I was sat on the sofa directly behind the flap and vigorously Embodied The Wrath of Khan in ‘encouraging’ said aggressor to depart again …!! 😡beanielou said:What a plavar with Sainsbury’s.

I think I will split it - the £10 cash I will spend on me, the £10 digital voucher can go back onto the shop. I have to use them again next week as I want to get rid of their totes which are currently cluttering up the conservatory! 😉
Having a slow and lazy start here, but the forecast has significantly improved since earlier in the week and it is set to be dry all day today 😊 Determined to get the seed sowing in the meadow area done today 😊

We had a water pistol to see off an aggressive cat, that used to come looking to beat up our flooff. It must have worked because we disposed of it a while ago. Most are just curious, but this one was really determined, and its an effective but kind way.
Just re-read that - it was the water pistol we disposed of."Think of many things, do one"

Good idea with the bonus £20!
We've got a cat who prowls around our garden like it owns it. It annoys me no end because it scares off all the birds and has gone for a few that were hopping about peacefully. So I open the door or window and hiss at it myself 🤣. DD and DP think I'm mental but it works, it runs away every time and won't come back for a few days.MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Thanks @skint_spice, @SandyShores, @Merlin's_Beard, @debtfreewannabe321 😊 I would hiss too, but Chloe would just ignore me, I’m sure! 😉
Much calmer day here. After a lazy start I have:
- dried two loads of washing for Mr KK on the line in the sunshine and reasonable breeze
- Sowed wildflower seeds in the divots I made yesterday - took a looong time and I used up a whole bag of compost, but it’s done 😊 Just need to keep them watered over the next week as it is forecast to be dry.- Cleared green hair slime stuff from the top pond but failed to be able to do much with the green ugly bubble slime in the bottom pond … 🤷♀️ Have to think of another tactic for that. 🤔
- Droppped off the art materials voucher for the 70th birthday party host from yesterday 😊😂
Mr KK had a rush of blood to his brain and emptied out the DIY shed! 😳😊👏🤩 He’s got rid of a lot of stuff (some rehomed - buckets to my potting shed 😊👏 and others used - a big lump of coconut matting has been cut up and become door mats for the potting shed, the garage and a standing mat in front of the workbench in the potting shed 😊) and we are getting close to needing a tip run. The good thing is that he’s found a huge heap of precut kindling and has created enough space to be able to put the cement mixer away, once he’s finished with it - hopefully in just a few more weeks. There’s also a load of bags of bags under the daleks by the compost heaps for bagging up anything useful the gardener finds when he comes in November 😊
Mr KK is cooking tonight and I have no further plans other than crochet, cat-cwtches and prep for tomorrow 😊
You can see the divots (straight lines) and it gives you an idea of the slope I work on in my garden! 😂

Updated all my financial trackers. We are already overspent on the groceries budget (£32.71), not wholly sure why, but cat food has come this month (first time in a while - bulk online purchase) and the spends on eating out up north came from this budget as well.I must do a freezer audit this week to see what we can eat next week to minimise next week’s shop.KKAs at 15.09.25:
