I’m very proud of Mr KK this evening. He and his oppo have twigged that they are being paid significantly less than market rate for what they do. Yes, in some ways it’s a cushy job (he washes and services the boss’s jeep and rolls Royce’s on Friday afternoons 🙄😂😉) but he also has a lot of responsibility and is very customer facing so he is representing the organisation in a way a lot of their direct employees don’t. He’s going to tell his boss next week that his rate is going up and by how much from next week.I’ve said we will leave things as they are for three months to allow him to build up a bit of savings fat (assuming his boss doesn’t say no) and then I would appreciate it if we could adjust our relative contributions to the shared accounts so I can reduce mine a bit. He’s up for that 😊

Nothing of any great significance happening here ... quietly trundling on.
As requested by @Cheery_Daff to report back after my call with the GP about my levothyroxine test levels:
I had the call this afternoon and after some back and forth about why I thought I needed my dose increased (it was all in the message I sent the surgery ...), he suggested that I increase my dosage by the amount I wanted to and get a blood test in 2 months to confirm the effect.
I can start increasing the dosage from tomorrow
and he's sent a revised script to my designated prescription pharmacy to top up my current script.
I am pleased as I think it will make a real difference to my stamina and quality of life, but I am also frustrated as this could have been done 3 years ago when my results were initially this low and my quality of life could have been better for all that time ...
I can't help wondering if this contributed to my feeling of utter exhaustion and overwhelm at the very tough job ...
Ho Hum ...
Now I know that I can see the results in the NHS App I will be keeping a much closer eye on them. It was purely by chance I came across the fact they had been posted on there by my surgery.

Was that even a doctor? Please do not increase by more than 25 a day for several days - over a week at least. If you have one of those watches please check your resting heart rate. Mine goes down by 10 at least if I am undermedicated and up by 10 if I am over medicated. Please be careful as being over medicated for some time can lead to angina exactly like an overactive thyroid can.2

In other news, statement for joint account for all house expenses turned up today and there was a small surplus. 😊
£100 sent off as OP (but no TT’s were possible 😉🤷♀️)
£100 shuffled off into the linked savings account for the house as it needs topping up …
