Good that you eventually got the prescription sorted, well done you for pursuing it.
Though don't worry too much about if you would have been better in tough job with it, you were working with absolute nightmares. The (?)German was a psychopath and I will never forget your colleague/charge bragging about how he used to 'go out on the rob'. No amount of meds is changing having to deal with those people day in day out!

Thanks @PennysIntoPounds 😊 and that hideous commute …

But … I still have the feeling that ‘I failed’ and it frustrates me that this was probably partly why … (might have even been a big part … 🤷‍♀️)

    I’ll get over myself! 😉

I’m paid less now, but life is soooo much better 😊

Glad you got the prescription sorted out - fingers crossed that that makes life better!

I think it's hard to remember with jobs that you only have a certain amount of control, and that you can only affect the things that are under your control. A lot of the rest of it is just putting yourself in the right environment (or taking yourself out of the wrong one).

As you know I very much emphasise with a lack of care towards women's health, but don't give in to the gaslighting instilled by German that 'you failed'.
We all saw you battling through and giving it your all, and whatever your all was, was never going to be able to compete with someone who woke up every morning seemingly with the aim of undermining you, stressing you, and just downright lying. He was a psycho and it's good that you're healing from that, so keep up that good work and do not start second guessing yourself again!

We have this thing, where every, single, year, without exception *or* intention, some Christmas decoration does just not make it back into storage … I have no idea why! 😂🤷‍♀️
This year it was this snowman that is from a set of crackers where you end up with a set of them and a little ball, that you can use to play a form of table skittles … 😊

being sensible and OPing / building a pension is not very compatible with living a bit more is it ... sigh ...

I have the exact same struggle going on all the time 😑😆.
It’s the age old debate …
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
