Trump might be a good one we can all agree on, books would be a good one to ask about (though our interests are VERY different), my dad's latest research (Mr KK developed the habit of Goggling him before every visit as a survival tactic early on in getting to know my dad!) ...
I have done a tot up of how many months before we will have got below £200K balance on the mortgage - at a typical, average monthly reduction of £1500 reduction per month under the current fixed rate mortgage deal (without OPs) it will be 23.9 months, i.e. 2 years, July 2027, so that's the first target to beat ....

One of the mindful eating tasks after the last session was to try the 30 plants a week challenge. When I was vegan I did it and got to 30 plants within 3 days. I thought it was worth doing again now I’m veggie and I will be at 32 plants after dinner this evening (4 days of tracking) and that’s excluding shop bought veggie soups. Pretty chuffed with that - looks like the habit of eating a wide variety of plants has stayed with me 😊

Think I'd only get to 30 in a week if I was allowed to include anything that includes plant products like bread and pastries. And wine!!

i once went to a lecture which suggested counting colours as well. That was really fun, it was about the variety of polyphenols in plants, and the greater the range of colours the more you were eating so I did it and some of the habits stayed, like buying multi-colured bags of peppers, adding beetroot and so on just to increase the colour range.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -

I love veg and always get at least one into a dinner even when it's supposed to be a junk food evening. The kids love that 🤣. I should see how many I eat perhaps not as much at the moment because kitchen is annoying to use whilst building works are going on, but tonight I have aubergine and courgette from the garden! I hope they taste ok 😁.MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. @debtfreewannabe321, I don’t love veg, far more instinctively inclined to carbs, but I am trying to re-educate my palate … 😉

Knocked over some tasks thanks to my early finish Friday (there was serious, high level, professional adulting in work today too, but we won’t discuss that as I am me’ing here, not working 😉):
- Both of my washing loads done and dried easily outside 😊
- Bathroom and downstairs loo cleaned
- Emptied all internal bins
- Water jug cleaned, renewed filter and next date for doing it again recorded on the calendar 😊
- Cleaned the screen of my iPad - I have been meaning to do that for aaaages! 😉
- Did the week’s money transactions and set up a new month. Deliberately left myself short on some categories where I have been overspending lately … <ahem>
- Cleaned out the bottom of the fridge 👏😊
Happy with that lot 😊
In not so good news, the hose gun has catastrophically failed and the self holding bracket for the bottles shelf in the shower has split. Hope there won’t be a third thing … 🤞
