    Thanks @redofromstart, they seem remarkably reluctant to talk to me about values or anything else but they have recently rebranded themselves (tbh I think the fund has changed hands) so maybe there was a hiatus whilst they were in transition. I will try again. Waiting and getting more value later does sound like it would be logical …

    @Brie, why would 60 be the age to look at it again? Genuine question.

    I don’t feel like a kitten at nearly 55. I feel old and tired already ….

    You have just reminded me of DS1 climbing into an armoured vehicle at a show and stamping on the accelerator, revving the engine. You have never seen so many Weekend Warriors run toward a turret.  Someone was getting a right rollicking as we walked away.
    Apparently they were not supposed to leave the keys in the ignition.
    He answered to Tank Commander for quite a while afterwards.  He was 5.
    Bet you aren't surprised?

    @f0xh0les, oh brilliant!  :)

    Mr KK was asked yesterday if he had Public Liability Insurance - yes as part of being a member of the MVT. Did he have a risk assessment. "No", was the answer "but we won't let them touch it!"   ;)

    I love that picture KK, and I can entirely understand why Mr KK puts so much effort into his interests.

    He works crazy hard at everything. He never stops! I always feel lazy by comparison! I have had to consciously accept and forgive myself for not being able to do as much as him, at the time, on all the things I would like to ...  ;)

    i had to double take that vehicle as it looked like the village VE picnic of yesterday!  How lovely.
    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    The mindful thing sounds interesting. My eating is out of control at the moment.

    Mine isn’t great. I keep doing ‘restrictive’ eating in various ways but I can’t sustain it long term and therefore my (over)weight pretty much stays the same. I don’t have the margin I used to have when I could burn off calories easily now I’m getting older. A lot of what the woman I’m seeing said about her experience with food resonated with me and she is someone I know personally so I trust her to respect my confidentiality.

     A shocking (to me) amount of my stuff around food relates to my early and neglected childhood … But we are trying to give me ‘adult’ responses to the child demanding ‘something nice’ etc … 😉
