I have spent much of the rest of the day in the garden. Garlic, potatoes, shallots and broad beans all weeded (bindweed pulled and binned, the rest chopped and dropped), well watered and then deeply mulched with freshly riddled compost from the compost heap. I have also riddled and barrowed up the garden two spare bags of compost for topping up the spuds in the coming weeks. I am a bit wrecked! 😉😂 Very satisfied though 😊
All my nails need trimming (split and ripped) and deep cleaning before I rejoin ‘polite society’ tomorrow … 😉

We’ve admitted defeat and put the heating on and lit the wood burner. It’s blowing a hooley here and it’s chilly and we were both cold last night so as we’ve both been working hard today and will be stiff if wr aren’t warm, we are indulging ourselves! 😉

I think going out is *very* exciting and actually quite tiring atm … She’ll get there. I’m amazed at how fast she has healed. Far quicker than her fur growing back! 😂

Mad busy day - productive and positive 😊
Slept really badly for a second night so I am shattered now! Hoping I sleep tonight … 🤞
Chloe has been out for most of the day we think and fell asleep in the long grass under the apple trees by the big pond 😊 She is now in and seems to be accepting her nightly curfew, which is a relief for Mr KK 😊
One job I ought to do is reclaim the cost of my new safety shoes - where I am now they have amazingly light weight shoes with a wider toe box. Sooo much more comfortable, you wouldn’t believe how much of a difference comfortable feet make to your working day!Oh and a small piece of news. My last but one employer (the tough, very corporate one that I ended up being pushed out of) has now sacked the Production Manager. He only lasted 7 months longer than me and started about that long after me! All sounds very melodramatic and angsty … Soooo glad I am out of that!KKAs at 15.07.25:

I have worked hard since starting this new job and everyone seems pleased with me and what I am doing .... but .... I had really bad anxiety about what still needed to be done on Monday night so I couldn't sleep. I can logically see that this is ridiculous - I am only on my second week(!), but there is obviously a bit of my brain that is still very easily triggered / reactive ...
Chloe is cwtching Mr KK most night and every morning. I have yet to have a cwtch with her since the last vet visit ...
