Potted up almost all the F Gracy parcel contents 😊 They are in fabulous condition and apparently I have bought two huuuuge dahlias that might get up to 3m tall! 😂 Mind you, those particular tubers are pretty small atm, so may be not this year! 😉 Big pulmonaria roots, martagon lillies and a set of three gorgeous pulmonarias 😊
There are some little lily things that need to go straight in the ground so I have opened the package to allow them to breathe and will aim to get them in the ground in the next couple of weeks.
Ran out of time to do seed sowing but did drive up and into the thick of the local city to drop off the picker upper stick and sponge stick to my friend. When I got home she messaged me to thank me and asked me if I could find a copy of the Kannon Gyo (Lotus Sutra) and the Buddhist service we both used to use, as she couldn’t ask anyone else …. I had a rummage in my ancient email account and found both and sent them on to her. Lovely to see that her energy is arising enough that she wants to practice again ❤️
Done a bit of tapestry today but no cleaning - just ran out of time - my friend and the plants parcel had to take priority! Chloe has mastered the lockable cat flap so hopefully we will have no further intrusion from the next door’s cat who we suspect was behind the pile of poop Mr KK found on his duvet this week! 🙄😡
Oh and forgot to mention - I booked and paid for my two nights in West Wales in July. I’m committed now …. Excited and a little bit nervous… 😉

Oh no! to the unwanted present on the duvet. Our rescue used to wee on the quilt when we first had him, luckily he grew out of it really quickly. Well done to Chloe for mastering the lockable cat flap, not sure ours would cope with that - he sometimes stares at us through the cat flap until we let him in the door!!
Exciting about the flowers and about your minibreak in West Wales - hope it goes well."Think of many things, do one"

Exciting about the flowers and about your minibreak in West Wales - hope it goes well.Initially she wasn’t impressed, but she decided the torrential rain was enough incentive when the stoopid hoomans weren’t around to let her via any other door … 😉
The plants etc are giving me hope and something to dream on … 😊🤩

Plants sound fab but be careful with the type of lily as they can be toxic to cats1

I cut the stamens out for cut flowers, but have never seen a cat try and touch them. I have some dim cats (Fluff!!) but not that dim.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Thanks @redofromstart, that’s reassuring. Cutting the stamens out is meant to make them last longer and does avoid the pollen staining everything it lands on! 😊KKAs at 15.07.25:

Yes I used to cut the stamens on lilies when my cats were alive -
no to the duvet present - having always had animals - my flat is cleaner without them …DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
