We have clear skies and even the odd patch of sunshine. I hope you do too.

lots of cutting back overgrown shrubs around the edges here, but like you I find it really helps my head to spend time in the garden.

Yes they do!!  Have done a lot of fungi foraging in the past and know very well there is a wild difference between finding some nice boletes and a very pretty toadstool!!!  And then there were those ones that everyone was picking off the lawn in front of the Vancouver city hall when I used to live over that way......

Foraging is on my list of something to learn more about - in fact I think I might add that to my list of things to do this year or next.  I can do the basics but mushroom picking terrifies me in case I get it wrong and I'm sure there is a lot more edible goodies to discover and have fun with.

Watty1 - nothing the matter with sticking to blackberries and wild garlic!!!

There is a great book by the UK Food Larder which is great for foraging and another for mushrooms. I’d thouroughly recommend the mushroom one. I found a number of great mushrooms this year using that book.

There is an online Apothecary Shop and if you search on mushrooms there are quite a few capsules, but there's also an online contact form for advice.

Had a good day today and managed more than I hoped 😊

Woke up too early (think a bit of work PTSD stuff from an interaction this week but equally could still be effects from this flipping bug … 🙄🤷‍♀️), got the washing on, wrangled the groceries delivery (Mr KK’s delighted smile when he saw the Qu@vers coming in made me happy 😉❤️) and then headed out for my hair cut. Good chat with my hairdresser - usual deep conversation about life, death and everything in between! 😉

Headed home again, lunch, some downtime on the sofa with tapestry 😊
Then got outside in the garden for two hours 😊 Got my washing on the line, which I gave a wipe down to as it was going a bit green 😉 and I came in almost dry 👏😊

First hour was hacking away at still more under the pine tree. I gave that up after an hour as it was hard going and spent the second hour weeding and clearing dead stuff from the sit spot border. I can currently see snowdrops, hellebores, primulas, crocus and viburnum in flower in the garden. Mr KK was pootling about moving stuff between his big shed and the garage to make more space for himself and he noticed the flowers too 😊 He had also spent the whole morning digging out 3 wheelbarrows worth of brambles and roots - Hero! 👏💪😊❤️

Had parcels from 🤴 seeds and F Gracy today so tomorrow’s wet weather play will be in the potting shed … 😊
