Hope you're feeling better today - no posts yet so I'm assuming you're either fast asleep under a cat or at work.
re the maple - will they be rehoming it? It would be nice to move it to a park or similar if there's a suitable spot that could be agreed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hope you feeling betterDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Morning all 🌞👋
I have had a rough week which I will spare you the full details of - suffice it to say it primarily contained work, food prep (quite a bit of which Mr KK did ❤️) and GLOOP! I haven’t been sleeping well so just getting through the week has been hard. Finally slept properly on Thursday and last night but suspect I have quite a sleep debt to work through ….
This weekend will be another quiet one. Partly because I still need to rest and partly because the forecast here is raw - cold, grey and strong winds. I’m not taking my still sore chest out into that, think it would be very counterproductive. However, I am feeling more focused and touch more energetic so I will aim to get my cleaning done, washing, end of month money shuffle (a week over due but didn’t have the head space for it last weekend) and various other little, indoor jobs. It’s so nice to feel a bit more human again! 😊Oh and my friend with the broken femur managed to walk, with a walker, to the bathroom for the first time yesterday. This is making her feel a LOT better 😊❤️

Hopefully a weekend of rest will help restore you.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -

Dr Brie prescribes a good dose of cat cuddles while lightly snoozing on the sofa. Mr KK is allowed to quietly ensure the woodburner works at just the right temperature. He may also bring you the occasionally cuppa something restoratively tea-like.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
