I was amazed to find that jumper! 🤩 I very fatally find things I like and then to find it in the right size and reduce - Wowsers! I have very consciously, immediately started wearing it, in the spirit of your Advent thread and not constantly ‘saving things for best’ and never getting any actual joy from them. 😊❤️

Ooh, I’ve just had a notification come through on my phone … My Easter days off (the 4 days before) has been approved as well as the half day in two Friday’s time so I can get to my dental appointment 😊👏
This is good 😊

View from my living room window when I first came down this morning. Don’t think I will be doing a lot outside today ….

Just catching up (glorious tapestry). Love the self sufficiency milestones, celebratory steps.
It reminded me of a long ago allotment produce and how I gave a lot away on the walk home. A boyfriend looked and said he wanted to use the cauliflower bean and courgette glut to make piccalilli. I've never liked shop bought piccalilli but that stuff was so yummy. I had so many jars of it I gave it away that summer but it was so yummy I think I might try making my own later this year.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -
Loving your posts KK and you sound so much happier at work now 🥰
That tapestry is huge! What will you do with it once it's completed?
We've had the smallest amount of snow here and most of it has rained off roofs and fences now. Rain still continues...

I used to do picalilli with our gluts Watty, a River Cottage recipe I think. Nobody liked the posh bought stuff when we tried it.The tapestry looks very cheering KK.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

The veg area looks great and good to have targets !Loving the tapestry and the Piccalilli sounds great!DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
