You have reminded me about the goats I saw on a day out with PPH when I was trying to make the relationship work. I really really wanted a couple! Having reviewed your list (which is very impressive) I do think the goats would be a lovely addition, the time you needed to find would be found immediately by the goats helping in the garden (a restructure of the garden to devote a lot of it to the goats ?) and if you have more than one they can keep each other company
Win win win (cheering you on)
(And now PPH is not around I could consider goats ....)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
lets face it any livestock (including some humans) is not compatible with a pretty and/or productive garden. Not been a great day here ….
Mr KK drove us to Hay and as soon as he got out of the car he basically fell over because his leg collapsed beneath him - really bad sciatica. So after a bit of time for some painkillers given by a passerby to kick in we drove straight home again, with regular stops for him to thrash around in agony in the car.I then did the rounds of 111, GP surgery and 999 with no help available as he ‘had no red flags’. Yes no red flags but he is thrashing around in the floor of the snug, having been helped into the house by the postman unable to do anything …. Horribly stressful 4 hours. Eventually, after he crawled to the loo, the top of his thigh went numb, the agony eased back to normal sciatic pain and the GP prescribed some elephant strength painkillers.£4 for the car park (before we realised he couldn’t walk) and £23.90 for prescriptions and extra ibuprofen. Not quite what I had in mind. Mr KK is feeling bad (and sad) so I have suggested we go back in a few weeks when he’s a bit more up to it.We are both shattered now …

Oh no ☹️ poor Mr KK. I hope it eases off soon. I have sciatica and there are some useful yoga moves to ease it if you have a search for them. They hurt but the relief is almost immediate. Oh no poor Mr KK
I have occasional sciatica from an weight lifting injury and if I don’t exercise /stretch every other day I really feel it by the 3rd day - I am super active and walk everywhere but my lower back needs stretching
I woke up this morning in stiff back pain - and it’s cos of no stretching /gym since Saturday
daily stretching /yoga will keep it at bay and also as debt free days will also help ease it
also hot /cold compress
and magnesium really helps as can boswelliaDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
