You can't do anything if no-one can show that it's theirs! Putting it on the local WhatsApp group was the decent thing to do, hopefully it's not a chancer claiming it but your conscience will be clear.
You'd think that there'd be some paperwork but heyho2 -
Ah and here was me thinking it was the log fairy delivering some good karma 🙂2

I feel like I have had a reasonably productive day 😊
- Out very first thing to physio for my shoulder. The physio was obviously knowledgeable, kind and constructive. I feel reassured that it’s improving and I have new / different exercises to strengthen it. Local community hospital too - didn’t even know it existed until I got referred there. 😊 Had an interesting chat in the waiting room with the chap next to me who works as a railway signaller - his patch is huge and still all mechanical 😊Rung the old mortgage company to try and retrieve the excess mortgage payment. It will take up to 10 days, but there was no issue with them agreeing that they owed us the money 😊 I then cancelled the DD for the old mortgage company.Rang the new mortgage company as well today. The set up is not as good as previous provider (no online access to the mortgage account) but if I open a bank / savings account with them I should be able to see the mortgage balance / the effect of any OPs made. Apparently it takes about a month to synch the mortgage and the bank accounts … I have applied for an easy access (useless interest rate) savings account. I think I will use this to direct all OPs across to. I asked them to set the monthly payment to £1810 which includes an automatic OP of just over £5 - not huge but useful 😊
Had a chat with the my computer guru. After remoting into my machine he does agree I need a new laptop - the main processor can’t support windows 11 and w10 won’t be supported from next year … He’s going to give me the contact details of where he buys his laptops from, told me what spec to go for and to wait on an ex lease unit 😊Chased two recruiters today - one was a definite ‘no’ as I came late into the process and the employer was already well down the road with a candidate they liked. Recruiter still wants to work with me though. Second recruiter has two possible roles for me and needs to make some calls on my behalf … he’s not called back today. Guess who I will be calling tomorrow! 😉Done okay on shrinking today. Reasonably limited calories and got out in the garden - see below.Got out in the garden for a couple of hours either side of lunch. Crown lifted the ancient contorted Hazel slightly, weeded a section of patio (stopped after two big tubs of weeds removed) and swept the conservatory steps and paving in front where I had been weeding. Mr KK impressed when he got home, along with his ‘new’ sand blasting unit. I had to help lift it into the garage 😉
Kitchen fridge seems to be dying on us … 🥺 It does get cold but only when ramped up and then gets down quite slowly … Is it worth asking a local company to see if they could repair / re gas it? I have a couple of numbers I can call tomorrow to ask …KKAs at 15.07.25:

A wood fairy wood (d’you see what I did there … 🙄😂😂😂😂) have been very nice, but hey 😊🤷♀️
I will be interested to see how the supplier explains it! I have to say I am seriously impressed by their delivery driver as our drive is not that big and the bags are tucked in BEHIND my car! 😳😂
Yes, colour in clothes is very important to me. And here I am, once again, in my grey gardening clothes …! 😂 I need excuses to leave the house and dress up just a little I think! 😉

Ariston...and on.... and on... and on.... until it doesn't.Apparently nothing was made under the Ariston label in the UK after 2011, so it was before then. I think it has probably done its duty and served well - at least 13 years!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
