A crumb of good news …
Even though I’ve not lost any further weight this week, my relatively smart, tight jeans are just smartly tight rather than painfully so 😊

Fantastic meal. We are both stuffed and happy, wood stove lit, glass of wine for him, cuppa for me - happy sigh 😊

Sounds like you've had a lovely day, happy birthday weekend! 🥳2

Thanks @skint_spice and @Cheery_Daff 😊
Very late start to the day - we didn’t surface until 10.30! 😳😂😊 We both slept well and I think a good rest was what we both needed.Got a fair few bits done:
- 3 loads of washing through the machine, dried and put away.- one of the loads was the big dining room table cloth as we have the next door sparky neighbour coming over for food and company tonight
- Foraged cookers from the garden - the last few - and made an apple crumble with ground almonds in the crumble, and raisin and a teeny sprinkle of all spice in the apple, as we have company for dinner (we never bother with dessert usually) to be served with cream 😊
- made extra gravy for tonight and then cleaned the kitchen down, ready for Mr KK to cook tonight.
- gave the downstairs loo a birthday in honour of tonight’s guest (it wasn’t bad, I just freshened it up a bit) and defluffed all seats in the living room - thank you cats! 😂
- Some random decluttering of ‘stuff’ that was in the wrong place all over the house. Not significant in one way, but visually less annoying!
- Had George cwtches ❤️
- Helped Mr KK lift and push a huge scaffolding plank in place above the main door of the garage to display more of his militaria, which will in turn free up space for proper storage of tools and other stuff that’s on the floor atm. He’s been working really hard out there - doing well.I’d have done some recipe book culling today but I didn’t want to make a mess before this evening! 😂
