EDIT: I like the look of the pony one, that gives more height. Think that could be the one β¦ π€ For once, I will actually be able to surprise him on Christmas Day! πβ€οΈ

Well I finally made the bean burgers today, with ground almonds rather than oats and flaxseed instead of flour. They are better than most and so easy to make! π These will become a regular addition I think with finely chopped shallot incorporated π Served with air fryerβd tomatoes and beetroot - yeh, I know, Iβm eating all kinds of odd combos atm to try to fill me up but keep the calories down! ππ
Persuaded Mr KK to give me his grubbies as soon as he surfaced, so by the time we surfaced from a cuppa in bed the washing was ready to go out, maximising its time in the sunshine. It needs finishing on the heated airer but wonβt need tumbling ππ
I noticed today that there are many half done jobs, hanging about the place. I think this will be the week of Getting Half Done Jobs, Done!Β I made a start this morning, with an hour in the front garden working on the front borders - these are now 3/4s done π
I had a further hour in the garden this afternoon and switched to starting to clear the cut flower border as I needed to use different muscles / postures. Cleared a lot of big, dead stuff. I think the biggest and deadest was a plant thatβs one I have grown from seed, has gorgeous blue flowers and is four times the size I thought it would be! π I will move these two plants down to the big pond / the Copse as that area can be as shaggy as it likes β¦ π Iβve checked out the area I want to move it to, and that should be possible this week - just hope it doesnβt have too much of a taproot on it as that will make it awkward to move.Β
Mr KK meanwhile, has been sandblasting the mudguards he welded and ground back yesterday. Heβs very pleased as this will mean he can get the top coat on next weekend (weather permitting for spraying) and can then put the mudguards and followed by the wheels back on the bike, which will in turn release a big section of space in his garage π
A good day π

Been a busy day in spite of feeling tired (clock change?):Β
- did the sweep of the job sites and chased one recruiter for feedback, replied to another who sent me a possible vacancy.Β
- Did a Half Done Job - the open shelves in the kitchen are now all clean and tidied π
- Returned the MnS bralettes that didnβt fit. Thatβs Β£42 to come back π
- Emptied all internal waste bins, cleaned the bathroom and the downstairs loo.
- Swept the ground floor all the way through - there was a lot of blasting sand about the place π
- Booked an oil change for my car.Β
- Booked a physio session for my shoulder. Had to wait for the receptionistβs PC to boot up so we had a lovely chat about gardening and brambles β¦ π
- Started the JSA application - you can do this online now - a post Covid innovation Iβm assuming? Iβm amazed by how much the value of this per week has gone up - waaaay more than inflation I think?
- Got out for a brief walk in the woods. Too muddy and I am too sore to garden today, so a walk was a good excuse to get out of the house for a bit.ΒKKAs at 15.07.25:
