@PennysIntoPounds it was there! I saw it - there was some kind of problem for a couple of hours with the thanks and report buttons being all over the place and overlapping, so it is possible it was clicked in error.  

There was nothing in there that the RickHeads could possibly object to.  Unless it was the AmDram reference in which case they will no doubt still be reclining on a chaise longue, in a darkened room, with loosened stays huffing those smelling salts.

Hope today is a better day @KajiKita   it is  also nearly the weekend.

Thanks all. The week didn’t end well with the suicide of a colleague in another department on Wednesday which came out to us all on Friday. One of my reports was a good friend of hers. Unfortunately I didn’t get to hear until AFTER he asked to go home as he couldn’t concentrate any more … Fortunately I know him well enough that I ‘read him right’ (he’s normally like a stand of solid rock, both mentally and physically, always stands when talking to me etc. - this time he sat on the desk behind me, looked soft in his body, almost seemed upset etc - I thought he was overworked as he had being sending a lot of late emails this week) and reacted sensibly (go home now, no you will not make up the time this evening - you are done for today and this week, we have time now, a week or two, to complete the analysis requested. Just rest.) but jeez …. 🤷‍♀️
Fortunately Colonel Colon was on leave for the past two days so i was able to leave at 4pm yesterday. That helped. 
Arranged occ health call for flaky report for after his holiday next week. 
Got through a lot of work, as the meetings colonel colon said he needed me to stay late for, never appeared … 🤷‍♀️

Enough.

Doing the big hosting here today for Mr KK’s nephew’s 30th birthday. Not sure how this will pan out but it might be fun …? 🤷‍♀️😊 I have bought two cakes - one for nephew with candles as a 3 digit and 0 digit but also a cake for MiL with a ‘Happy Birthday’ candle, as she didn’t really get a birthday at all this year due to it landing in the midst of FiL dying …. 

Sunday will be about recovery! 😂 Hoping to also catch up with parish council colleague as she says she has lots to tell me … #Intrigue! 😉

Also, am veeeeeerrrrrry close to finishing my mum’s lap blanket - I hope to inflict a photo on you later 😊

So sorry about work colleague.  That's awful, and shocking.

Yay to PBs  (is £100 now called 'a catio'?) and finishing a w-i-p. 

It is still m-i-l's birthday summer, so it counts! Why are we hung up on one day? I am having a 50th birthday year!

Hope the weekend is lots of fun, if nothing else, you are helping to make memories for the younger ones.
