I tried to add Mr KK to the joint energy account as he has limited proof of ID but it got so laborious that I gave up in the end. It’s something I will consider when we look at new providers at the end of our fixed rate deal.KKAs at 15.07.25:

Had a good session in the garden today - got a new philodendron in the ground next to the pergola, mulched it with posh compost and bark and will fleece it if seriously cold temperatures threaten. Did a load of weeding of the bark path around the big veggie patch, whilst Mr KK was wandering around with a mattock, attacking brambles for me 🤩❤️ Hit 10K steps easily.English session with coachee has gone well today, and yeeeees, you have to chose another book! 😂😂😂 (I pointed out a load of things that he’s not getting right in his writing - because he’s not reading it back to himself aloud 🙄 but ‘got’ straight away when I pointed them out, was because he has been reading so much dialogue recently …. He grudgingly acknowledged my point and has agreed to chose a new book 😊😉). In school he is reading poetry atm and is deeeeeeply unimpressed 😂😂😂
Cashed out £5 from Pr1me this morning, but before I could OP it, I had a payment come out of PP so OP only ended up being £3.41 (+ a 75pTT) 🙄 Ah well, owts better than nowt as they say … 🤷♀️😊

Has FIL signed a power of attorney as that can really help accessing the financials after the event, even for his wife as it speeds up access for her.

So sorry you are dealing with this - sadly its an inevitable part of life, not that that fact makes anything easier to cope.
Your poor student - poetry - Shakespeare sonnets may be easier than Sylvia Plath's bees.... My sister is still traumatised from those 20+ years onDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thanks @LadyWithAPlan, I have sent that link on to Mr KK.I know …. I did an English degree and I still cannot be doing with poetry! 😂😂😂 I quite liked the romantic poets and TS Elliot but most of it leaves me stone cold - a lot of it is intellectual pretension and posturing … 🙄😉

Just catching up, but wanted to add that some insurance companies will provide a discount where you have been a named driver on one of their policies, so its worth asking the current insurance company."Think of many things, do one"
