Such a nightmare …
I recently got stuck at a us based airport for 20 hours as it took 8 hrs from 10.30pm to 6.30 am to see the customer services (missed transfer as we sat on tarmac on incoming plane for 2 hrs!) … and then I hung round at airport til they found me a flight .. which was 3 hrs late leaving
so not fun

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Am finally home after going into work for a few hours. Checked up on a couple of things, nothing too major happening, came home. Sooo tired and my hold luggage, unsurprisingly after all the kerfuffle has evaporated somewhere … <sigh>
Still, I have clean sheets on the bed, washing in the machine (what I can wash anyway) and the fire is lit which will be nice for Mr KK to come home to 😊
