  • From memory I can only pay into (and out) of Marcus from a single account which was the original funding one. I had to shift the money to my Halifax to move it in. It takes a few hours to credit as well which is unnerving when you are used to instant transfers.

@savingholmes, I slept deeply and woke before the alarm. Have just come downstairs to a dead rat in the middle of the hall rug! Ugh!!! Can’t handle that at all, have left for Mr KK (I do deal with mice).

Hope you had a quiet night @beanielou?

@skint_spice - Mr KK had a live mouse in his bed last night! 😳 (This is why the cat is banned from my room at night!!)

Glad you survived the storm okay @beanielou 😊❤️

Very wet here overnight (woke me up at one point) so unlikely to be able to spend any time in the garden today. Looks like a quiet day in the house is on the cards, which isn’t a bad thing as there is muddle everywhere which it would be good to tame some of! 😉
Hoping to pop out some time today to to look at possible paint colours for the lounge (Mr KK wants something warm) and possible shower cubicles - these both rely on getting it of the house before lunchtime.
I also need to finish the prep for the first English coaching lesson at 4pm today.

Found good paint colours for the feature wall in the living room. I think we know which one we will go for, so that’s a good result. I left shower cubicles for another day when we both can go together.

Also got new mousetraps, spray bottles, big bottle of white vinegar, tomatoes and bicarbonate of soda on my trip to town. Been reading a lot of Nancy Birtwhistle lately ….

Two loads of washing done, now into the winter struggling-to-dry-clothes-zone of the season now … 🙄 Thank goodness for the dehumidifier! 👏

Cat’s food tray (I have tray on the floor to catch the messy eating habits 😉) deep cleaned along with the bowl 😊

Tidied up and repotted or top dressed 4 houseplants.

Worked my way through my financial updates to discover that my online access to my H@lif@x accounts was blocked again! Spent another 20 minutes talking to the fraud line. Again. This is becoming infantilising.

Struggled with the coaching session as my T3ams was acting up. Might try stripping it out and actually paying for it before next week’s session.

Also spent a lot of time on the sofa watching La Belle Floof snooze along with watching BBC’s Bleak House - loving it 😊

Refund of £39.20 turned up from Lands3nd from my return last week and used the £1.20 from WeR8 to do a teeny tiny OP 😊

What kind of colour do you think for the feature wall then?
