    - water jug scrubbed and reusable filter set up again

Hi KK, been reading the last few pages of your diary.  Do you mind me asking which reusable filter you use?  Just about to use our last disposable filter and want to switch to resuable.

Hi @CCW007 and welcome to my ramblings … 😊

It’s a brand called Ph💧x (Phox if you’re googling I guess). I like them as there is a lot less plastic involved and they genuinely last 6 weeks without any taint whereas I found the original type would start tasting of chlorine again within c. 3 weeks when they where meant to last 4.

I agree with Skint. That does sound pretty full on after moving. You are definitely making the place your own now.

Shame about the garden centre you mentioned - it sounded beautiful.

It’s my dad’s 83rd birthday today. So, I text him first thing to wish him happy birthday and ask when would be a good time to call him. Bouncing back comes the reply - I’m in Grenoble at a conference… no suggestion as to when I could call him, asked again and no reply all day. He rang me at 5pm for an 8 minute chat (he was in a hurry as he was heading out to a reception which involved a trip in a cable car ….) which was actually rather nice ❤️😊 He’s going to send me some of this year’s honey crop and we are going to open negotiations for a possible visit to see my parents next spring 😊

    Thank you 😊

No major progress on anything financial today - tried to transfer £2K to PBs this morning but H@lifax is yet again blocking the transaction after spending 20 minutes on the phone to them on Sunday trying to authorise it with them. I did manage to transfer £1K on Monday though? Odd. 🤷‍♀️ I shall persist ….

Been prepping for the English coaching I seemed to have picked up for the son of a colleague. First session is booked for Saturday afternoon so have reviewed his ‘homework’ I set(ish), downloaded teams and sent him an invite for his father to test before Saturday. We’ve agreed on £15 for the hour but we will see how it goes for both him and me - it may end up being too time consuming or the son might hate me! 😉😂
