I am sure I read somewhere that if you are convinced you are having useful ideas/worry you will forget something while trying to sleep you should keep a notepad by the bed and write it down as this gives your brain permission to move on. Not tried this myself…

It does kind-of work. I have done it many times, but often the action of writing it down wakes you up some more and then your brain helpfully starts throwing out other things you've forgotten, so you have to keep writing those down as well 🤦‍♀️!
    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I tried once writing down what seemed to come as flash of inspiration in the night, but in the morning discovered it was complete nonsense! 😂

Once I realised I was looping last night I started doing a chakra meditation and was asleep again by my throat 😊

Fell asleep on the sofa again this afternoon. Woke up with the cat sat on me - didn’t even notice her climbing on me! 😳
Rather to my surprise I have been through all the crafting stored in the conservatory and it is all in The Cupboard! 😊 There are so many part finished projects in that lot, some of them are really pretty! (I’d forgotten. ) You suddenly realise, when it’s all in one place, what a financial investment it all is too - needles, tools, pads of various types of paper, equipment, yarn, fabrics, lots of cross stitch and embroidery kits, etc etc.
I have one art materials box I need to get upstairs from the conservatory, but I have done enough for today. Still got all my food prep for tomorrow to do, the neighbours’ pots to water and fish to feed, not-shower to have, pack toiletries to shower in work tomorrow etc etc.

At least the bathroom is clean now 🤷‍♀️😊

    You will be very bored!
I fall but get up again & sometimes feel sorry for myself.
I am told I am stoic but I am not sure about that!

It’s reminded me of all the skills (knitting, crochet, embroidery) that I have picked up and that is helping to erode my perfectionism that ends up being paralysis.
