beanielou said:Not good on both fronts. However, this evening I have also harvested 410g of fresh, organic tomatoes 😊
I also met the neighbours’ two big carp this evening when watering all the pots etc whilst they are away on holiday. I have been feeding the goldfish in their outdoor pond for about a week now and hadn’t seen the koi and wondered why I had been told to feed quite so much! 😉😂
Mr KK has also chopped back a huge hazel so that my whirlygig isn’t buried and we aren’t quite touching to overhead power lines! ⚡️

Hope everything's okay with your colleague. I used to work at a place where people occasionally disappeared from their desks accompanied by security. Haven't experienced that anywhere since thank goodness, but I remember the atmosphere - it was unsettling for quite a while after.
Oh no to the boiler part too, thank goodness its the summer (allegedly - although it was lovely yesterday and seems very sunny again today). Thank goodness for work shower. We're both gym members so I guess that would be a back up for us, but not the same
I am definitely growing some tomatoes in raised beds next year - found a little spot to put them. There's nothing like a homegrown tasty tomato.
ps love a pond, but wouldn't like the upkeep."Think of many things, do one"

- had another shower in work this evening so at least I am clean tonight 😊👍- huuuuuuge breakthrough on an issue that my team have been battling with ever since I got there 19 months ago today, which is a messy, inefficient, prone to failure, workaround - I actually got quite emotional on the teams call about it. My boss is backing me on the fix 😊❤️- probiotics that are supposed to help with UTIs etc arrived tonight, so have started taking! 🤞- Mr KK has gone out to a bike meet, so I get an hour or so of quiet downtime …. Happy sigh … 😊

The boiler is fixed!!! I get to have a hot shower in my own home tonight for the frost time in 10 days! Joy unbounded!! 🚿😊❤️👏🎉🤩Global CI manager told me that in her horribly regular meeting with one of our most demanding customers this week, they said that my site was no longer so much of an issue any more and please could we switch focus to the Quebec site and their issues instead! 🤩🎉👏😊🥳 Re-sult!!Picked 400g of runner beans this evening and a small bowl of blackberries 😊

Lots of pottering and tidying to do here. Partly in the spare room to make it accessible and usable as a play …. ahem …. craft room 😊, partly in the living room to make it ready for the outside wall to come down next weekend and partly, absolutely everywhere else! Meting a friend (manager-colleague) for lunch - I haven’t done this in so long!! 😊
Waiting on plumbers bill - c. £200 to £300? That will come from our savings off the joint account (£1,000) so won’t affect either of us too much in the short term, though the savings will need to be topped up again. No other particularly significant plans this weekend. Just hoping for a bit of a rest to be fair, after an intense week!
£5.62 sent off this morning as OP from QM33 along with an 87p TT of the joint account 😊
