Good for you! I know it's tough when you just want it gone, but really, these companies are SUCH leeches, praying off of people, it's a joy to think of them getting at least a bit less back! And if the "bit less" paid back can go to bolster your savings, so much the better! 

Anyway - I'm really looking forward to starting to see your savings pots grow at a similar rate to that which your debts have disappeared!

It's crazy to think in January I was at the 4k mark still! and now I'm below 2k!! I'd honestly thought doing F&Fs would be more complicated than it is. I'm so glad I offered some real low offers

To celebrate 🎉 I'm making roast chicken dinner, got home made yorkies on the go with home made paprika roasties in beef fat yuuuumy!

I booked tomorrow off from both works with the internations of going shopping but as I have no car and OH is in work, I plan on doing surveys and cleaning. I have a house inspection from estate agents at 10am also.

Although you still have 118 to tackle (I’m sure they’ll cave in and accept a generous offer), you are pretty much debt free as far as monthly repayments are concerned (if offering £20pm towards 118) so now is the time to keep that plate spinning and start thinking about how to manage your finances now you’ve got almost the entirety of your disposable income at your fingertips.

Cars can be very expensive items, I hope you don’t end up spending too much getting them fixed!

Agreed, I just spent £449 on getting it fixed, £95 on a sensor just for it to go back into the garage OH van key snapped a few weeks back, so told recovery guy how to start it with the snapped half. They've now left that in the van, draining the battery and locked the key in so they can't get it off recovery! So it's cost him £100 for recovery and god knows how much to get the locksmith sorted!!

Afternoon all, 

Cleaned up my signature a bit. All nice and new. Great for me to see that there's only one debt!

I'm not feeling the best today, I've had a sort throat and an ulcer on my tonsil so myself Django(dog) and Archie the cat are all snuggled up on the bed about to watch a new series called "the woods" on Netflix.

Had house inspection this morning also, all is well. They just want an electrician to come and fit smoke alarms and a carbon monoxide alarm. We have them, they're just the rubbish ones that require batteries.

so update with cars etc

OH car has randomly lost 3 bolts, so dangerous to drive and had to walk 40 minutes home. His van was recovered this morning and they locked the key in the van. BUT the van is fixed as its common and is costing £300ish. My car is also sorted and cost a nice cheap £60! 

Working in Sainsburys tomorrow but as we have no cars between us my mam is picking me up so we can go in together! What a stressful week.

Morning all, 

I'm picking my car up soon. So I'm also going to go into sainsburys as I need to restock the fridge and cupboard. I've seen they've got half price on a lot of clothes aswell so going to have a look. I bought my nephew a matching top and bottoms this morning for £5.50! I want to get my sister something aswell but really unsure what to get her 😂
