  • Play it canny with 118 - you know they are open to offers already so consider being prepared to drop down to bare minimum payments for a while and stash the extra into savings, give it a few months then make another F&F offer and see what they come back with. As usual, decline their first suggestion but offer something midway between your figure and theirs, and see what happens. Once you know a company is likely to agree a F&F there’s little point in making payments that mean they realise there’s no point in them offering again! 😉
Exactly this, whilst you're making the required payments they're not gaining anything from a F&F.  Lots of luck x

    Afternoon all,

Sainsburys asked me to work this morning they asked me at 5pm yesterday, I said no. I enjoyed my sleep in!

Not done much today, in the process of dying the one side of my hair again as I didn't like the colour.

We're off to pick up dinner at half 7 and that's all I got planned today besides cleaning up

    Afternoon all,

I have over spent this month so I have very little to live on, but I have had all the work done on my car and I had to spend an unbudgeted £95 on a sensor that I fitted myself. I also managed to turn off the check engine line when replacing this. But I havent used Credit cards.

Vanquis emailed me to tell me they are closing my account which is good news. I'll also be paying likely loans on Friday and closing the account with them.

I'm also off to a 90s music festival on Saturday which should be fun!

Payday is Friday and then Sainsburys pay is next Friday!

  • It feels like April has been a long month to me… I have also spent more than I usually would and I think that contributed to my wobble mid-month.

Enjoy the 90’s festival, sounds like my cup of tea that. Hope the weather is kind x

I can't believe we are still in April, it has been going on forever and still nearly a week to go.

Enjoy the festival and well done on not using the credit cards.

I know, April has been a loooong month

Thank you! I've also closed most of my credit cards so I couldn't even use them if I even tried!

    Morning all,

So after replacing my sensor for the car the light on my dash occasionally comes on which is annoying. But I can turn it back off via a program (won't go into it as some people won't be interested haha)

But, I reset the light again last night and updated my software and now it's not come back on. Hopefully it will stay that way! But I'm hoping to book my car in for MOT Saturday morning as it runs out Sunday! So I'm hoping the light stays away or I can turn it back off before the MOT as its an instant fail :disappointed:
