    Morning all

Day 5 of 7 of isolation. Plus side is I'm keeping on top of washing aha!

Today I plan on baking a cake and general cleaning. I might watch my Netflix and catch up on stuff I've not watched in a while.

It's also payday Friday from Sainsburys and then the two weeks later from my main job

I watched stay close on Netflix during the holiday it was really good. I also watch four lives I think that was on bbc that had me in tears though.

Glad to hear you didn’t get bad symptoms

A bit late to your new diary but wanted to say well done for your progress to date but probably more importantly the change in mindset.  You are also working really hard to clear your debt.
Do you get staff discount at sainsbobs?  That will help your grocery bill.

Thank you so much! Yes, 10% currently. Its changing in March that within the first 5 days of Payday the discount ups to 15% which is even better.

I tend to try and do a monthly food shop when I'm working there on Sundays

    Evening all,

Just done some general cleaning around the house today. I also cut and dyed my hair again so it's all nice and fresh with no dead ends! Im back at work with both jobs tomorrow so tonight I'm going to make work lunches for the next two days and I also plan on having a nice relaxing bubble bath. I also plan on finishing the series "stay close" it's really good so far! Payday on Friday from sainsburys so aiming to pay off one of the smaller debts in full, then two weeks time it's payday from my main job.

Morning all, super early I know!

Supposed to be working in sainsburys today but I've had to call in due to the fact I've not slept at all maybe 2 hours max. I can't work in sainsburys at 4am until 8am then go to my second job to be at there from 8.30 until 4.45. Plus as it was over time in sainsburys I don't think they minded as such!

    Morning all,

Sainsburys again this morning. I've picked up extra shifts going into next week so it will be 8 days if 3am wake ups and 5 days of 19 hour working days! But thinking of the money!! Trying to get into the habbit of eating toast or cereal before work in sainsburys.

Didn't sleep after work today so feel like it should be at least 4pm already lol

  • Oh Jade that is a LOT of early starts on the bounce - do make sure you're fitting in some self-care time as well, won't you! Probably a good idea to try to eat something before heading to work as well if you can - what's that phrase about not being able to pour from an empty jug?

Yep but need the money. I have started to make sure I get up and have two slices of toast and a coffee. I get home from second job about 6pm and tonight I'm going to have a nice bubble bath, cuppa and a catch up on my Netflix!

    Afternoon all,

So I've had a little think. If sainsburys keep me on (find out on the 5th) I'll stick to my current job until I'm debt free. Whilst It would be nice not to have to work two jobs I don't think I could afford to pay off my debt with only surviving off Sainsburys wage.

So that's my determination to get debt free ASAP, no debt = no second job and a lot more freedom!
