That completely threw me for a moment! Was trying to work out how this random person's thread had got into my bookmarks!
Haha oops! I got told off for my name so they changed it for me. I didn't realise you couldn't have personal info as my username

Ooh neither did I - think that must be new as lots of folk used to use their names years ago. How odd that they've never mentioned it before though!

    Evening all,

So I got a letter from aqua offering a payment of £249 instead of £400 that I owed two weeks ago. Annoyingly they sent the letter on the 18th, it's only just arrived and they want payment by 4th March. I can't afford it so I plan on waiting until my car is fixed and phone them this time to offer payment as it will be quicker.

Hi Jade. Nice username change - it also threw me for a second too!

It’s a shame that you can’t afford to pay it off right now but at least you know that Aqua are open to negotiate with you. Now they’ve said they could go down to £249 you could maybe go back to them the next time you have that a amount and maybe try and shave another £20/£30 off by saying you can pay them then and there (if you intend to phone)

If you never ask, you’ll never know

    Morning all,

So I was speaking to someone I work with at sainsburys, she started the same time as me and they've given her a contact. So hopefully they'll give me one soon. Although there's no over time for the next 4 weeks.

    Afternoon all,

I worked sainsburys yesterday 4am until 9am. Came home and napped, must of needed it as I woke up at 4.50pm!!

Worked sainsburys again today 4am until 9am, came home and tried to stay awake but napped. But I told OH not to let me sleep so he woke me up with a coffee and bacon and sausage sandwich!

So I've hardly done anything at all this weekend and I'm now sat in bed snuggling the dog thinking of all the housework I should be doing. Which means I'm going to force myself out of bed.

I also offered Vanquis another F&F again, I owe them £280, offered £140 just waiting to hear from them. I have £26 pending on Vinted so waiting for that to clear. I also need to get back into doing my surveys. So far the only over time this week in Sainsburys is Saturday so I'm technically off now until Wednesday.

Me again, I've been feeling pretty bleh recently about paying my debts off. Feels like an endless cycle. BUT I have just checked on one of the threads I joined

Pay your debts by Christmas 2022!

Since January the 9th, to date and to my shock I've paid just over 1k back, seems like nothing when I first looked. But we're only just starting March. 3 months, I've paid over 1k. I'm so proud, it's motivation for me to get these debts gone!
