    Morning all,

What an absolutely hectic day! I've only now finished work at Sainsburys. I spoke to the manager, she said she has to extend me until April and then she said aslong as I keep hitting iPH (it's currently 174.1 I'm doing around 230ish) then she will take me on full time.

I am so tired today, but I've bought an energy drink and the weather is nice so I'm going to put some washing on when I get home and hang it outside

    Evening all, me again!

So, today has been very busy to say the least. I got home from sainsburys at 12ish. Then I ended up clearing the garden and cutting back alot of brambles and plucked some weeds from our little corner. I've emptied all the dead plants, attached my mini green house to the fence as the wind blew it away last time  then OH decided he wanted to take Django out on a walk. It was absolutely freeeezing! Django loved it, rolled around in a puddle and has been sleeping ever since. I then cleaned the car and now I've just had a nice relaxing bubble bath. We're ordering Chinese takeaway tonight, I think I deserve it  in total I've done 23k steps today.

Also, i put myself in for over time tomorrow Friday, Saturday! Sunday is back to my normal day as they extended my temp position until April and then the manager said theres a high probability of me being permanent.

I have to take my car to the garage soon also, it needs the coilover kit and drive shafts fitted. I ordered a new brake light switch, learnt a new trick that if I just watch and item sometimes ebayers send you offers. I only saved a quid but, that quid is now going into my savings  I also need to order some wiper blades as my drivers one is pants! I've also decided, I am going to keep my car as I've seen nice fancy side skirts, bumpers and alloys I'd like.

I can also say, I can't wait to get into my bed soon!

Also here's a picture of our view from the walk today.

  • Oh that view is just lovely Jade!

Great news on Sainsburys too - I know you won't really feel settled with it until it's definite but at least that's a little bit more certainty by the sounds of it - good stuff!

    Morning all,

So my car is booked in for the end of March for Coilovers, drop links and Driveshafts to be done. I already bought the Coilovers and Drive shafts so technically I'm paying for his time to fit them. Then I need to book it in for MOT. It's better knowing Sainsburys are basically taking me on as I can now plan my money a lot better!

Perspective though - what would you have done previously? I'm guessing NOT budgeted for the work that needed doing, and shoved in on a credit card or taken a short-term high-rate loan to cover the costs? You may not be debt free yet - but you ARE in a position where you are living without relying on credit - and that deserves a round of applause!
