Empty shelves in Morrisons

Brexit caused many delivery driver's to stay in their country of birth due to employment restrictions - maybe you missed that?maisie_cat said:
What "brexit caused" year of empty shelves?Deleted_User said:I meant "comparatively" not totally emptynoticeably too - even compared to the last brexit caused year of empty shelves
I know there was a load of reporting in press, but I never saw anything like the photos in our Morrisons, Tesco, M&S, Lidl, Aldi or Iceland.
We live in a far distant town away from London etc
Deliveries are different round here1 -
Which Morrisons exactly are you reffering too?Deleted_User said:
Sorry but do you shop in my local Morrisons?JJ_Egan said:Definitely a large exaggeration again .Certainly where not empty yesterday , neither where other stores .0 -
Obviously its the Morrisons with no stock , that only the OP family goes to .

One Morrisons store has had a supply issue, probably due to the bank holiday, possibly due to drivers self isolating, who knows, but this is ONE store.
Scaremongering about empty shelves is utterly ridiculous and frankly dangerous.7 -
Morrisons used to be SafewayRogerBareford said:

Morrisons was an already established supermarket chain (started in 1899) which bought out the former UK arm of Safeway Inc in 2003 and closed or sold to rival supermarkets many former Safeway stores.Deleted_User said:

It's impossible to separate the effects of brexit and coronavirus.. people see what they want to see, fitting their specific slant on the subject.
Personally, it doesn't take long to look around the globe to see supply and staffing issues - which is nothing to do with brexit in those cases. However, I can't see brexit not having any effect, it's just very difficult to separate from coronavirus3
