No, I do not, my argument was based on common sense and accepted spelling..

Taking your argiument to extreme, anyone appearing in a higher court should be required to appear in court dress.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    - The instructions on the sticky for sending it by email seem to indicate that I don't need to use the Money Claim Online website at all after AoS, is that correct? (I recognise that the sticky was not aimed at folks doing a CC...)
    - If the above is correct then how do I pay the Counter Claim £50 fee?
Correct, use the e-mail address provided in the defence template thread and then call CCBC and pay the C/C fee over the phone.  Do not put anything in the box on MCOL not even a full stop, as that would be seen as your defence.

So I have no further use of the MCOL website whatsoever after the AoS (which was already done) ?

    Thanks

    - I have emailed CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk with my defence and CC as a PDF
    - I have called the CCBC to pay the CC fee
    - I have not touched MCOL since AoS

Now we wait for the Directions Questionnaire! Although I need to advise all parties about my home move soon.... in any case I am staying local and will have access to my old postbox

As I said asbove. an "e" in judgerment is perfectily acceptable. It is, (or certainly was) the preferred spelling in the  FCO.
    What about the 'r'?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes you do , to check that the defence etc has been received and logged , plus to check when the N180 has been posted by the CCBC to you

So read only , checking the claim history for progress , until they pass the parcel to your local nominated court for further processing
