Sorry your still unwell NG - gastro - bugs do seem to be lasting longer lately. Strange that it is cyclical - as vix said, keep a record and then there is further evidence if it continues.

Urgh -sounds like a fabulous washing machine

Feeling much better now, just tired, It was a nasty bug as a friend of a friend was told by her doctor that there’s a bad one doing the rounds that can last up to three weeks 😱  I did have some dark chocolate mint frogs (Harry Potter) that were a birthday gift yesterday and then ended up with a red face, then later on some hot chocolate made with (another birthday gift) shaved dark chocolate , again a bright red face! Very odd, never had that before and chocolate is a big part of my diet 😂 not sure what’s going on.

So the big gas guzzler is on motorway today, it either gets bids today or tomorrow I believe and I get an email with the best offer and then decide or not to accept. Took a while to add the photos and list it, then a phone call as they check it all is ok - needed to retake some, and that’s it, they charge the dealers not me.

Also sold a windbreaker I found in the garage for the beetle I forgot I had! £55 🥳 but he wants it posted and it’s massive 😩 need to get a quote from Royal Mail then message and get the money , then go back and send it, what a palaver, I wonder if I can look it up?

Not done a food shop for ages, have given ds2 my card a few times and he’s bought bits on the way home, but it’s all cost more money to get easy stuff. I’ve £172.60 / £500 left until the end of the month, spent lots on the cats as well on a new fancy cat tray to try and reduce litter mess, plus sensitive food as big cat always has trouble, will be taking her to the vet this week I think.

As well as Royal Mail, don’t forget to compare courier prices on parcel2go.

Very odd about your red face and chocolate, although red wine certainly has the same effect on me - I wonder if it’s the tannins in it? Glad you’re feeling better though.

The guy after sending many messages and me sending the invoice hasn’t paid yet! Nothing is ever convenient 😆 Also had a call from motorway yesterday to say they can see a tear on the drivers leather seat which there isn’t, said there's a small scuff (it’s a 2009 car in really good condition) so the reduced the reserve by £200, the auction is today, I need £2000 to pay the offset back, fingers crossed the “reserve” is £1722 but I am not obliged to seek at all.

Spent £46.26 in Lidl, most annoyingly on a pack of 2x avocados that were rotten 😡 the budget is now down to £124.24 / £500 so I can see my birthday money taking a hit at the end of the month.

Claimed £2.22 from topcashback today and paid it to the Norway trip pot, target is £300 a month in the Xmas regular saver account which I opened for it, it’s more than we need but so far have hit £300 in Jan and Feb, this month is only on £52.22 so far though 😩

Also need to get  Mother’s Day gifts for mine and dh’s mum’s , not sure what yet and where the money will come from, I’ll try and get a bit of cash off dh maybe 😆

Well all going well the car has sold, I’m waiting for an email from the dealer who is buying it which should arrive within two days. It went for £2272, which is over the £2k I borrowed from the offset thank goodness. I’ve already spent some of it on taking the big cat to the vet as she has the runs still a lot, they are testing her for a virus that needs antibiotics and if it’s not that it’s an IBS type thing needing lifetime steroids 😩 total cost yesterday £137.

EBay man paid, I took the massive item to the post office who had no labels for sending parcels?! Told to go back this morning. Also bought some Mother’s Day bits yesterday including some nice lemon large jar candles in Asda for £3.50 each.

DIL sold an old bedside cabinet that was dd’s previously that had been hanging around the spare room (aka the rat room!) for £20 , so we split that and I put £10in the Norway saver account. If the car buyer pays what was agreed and the vet doesn’t charge much more I could be looking at around £100 leftover  to add to the saver account, so will be hoping to magic another £150 odd this month from nowhere 😩

  • Great news on car sale though - and on the bedside cabinet. There are still 16 days for you to perform magic

Excellent news on the car and cabinet. How strange about the PO not having labels?!

Fingers crossed cat is OK and it's a virus. Although it sounds odd that they are testing her rather than just giving the antibiotics and seeing if that helps.

As MFD says, you've got half a month to work your magic - I'm sure you'll find it!

Great news on the car.  With the reduced fuel costs and no garage rent to pay you are saving money every month.

Sorry to hear aunty kitty is unwell.  Has you vet had you try something like pro-kaolin?  We have found it quite effective in getting our old girl back to normal quickly.
