Thanks, £64.80 spent so far from the budget on a Tesco home delivery last night, plus 0.79p taken for apple storage ( might need to look at removing that and deleting things) so £1800 / £1735.20 left now.

Nothing planned for today but we have a house full as ds1’s girlfriend is here too, plus we have a visiting dog - Dil/Sil’s sister is away and so we are dog sitting for a week, she says for sleep overs from time to time, she’s a tiny black ten year old mongrel rescue they have had for years, she was clearly abused in a past life as she has some very odd ways about her, but she loves being here and it’s nice having a a pet around.

Didn’t go out yesterday so it was a no spend day, today I’m just doing another online tesc@ shop for Thursday as there is. £5 cashback on offer from top cashback today at many of the supermarkets. I don’t want to spend too much on fresh so will get a couple of cleaning bits too to bump up the cost. I’ve given up with the sprays now and tend to make my own with stardrops, but we do get through a fair bit of bleach here, it is needed 😆

Not feeling so great still, so will juts potter about indoors and try and get as much washing done and dry as possible, it’s still ok outdoors for now, when it’s not I’ll start using the heated airier again.

I ended up going for a walk at the local nature park with best friend this morning, have got very lazy (and a bit meh) lately so am trying to be a bit more active, £2 spent parking but I’m not including it as it was loose change in the car!

I’ve renamed an old account in nationwide and called it extra £300 op account, today I’ve transferred £49.60 which was a refund just received from some nice M&S nightwear I don’t really need 🙄 plus £11.48 which I’ve received form tcb. Once I’ve hit the £300 I’ll flip to saving for a 2 night trip to York in December I’ve just arranged to do with best friend, only 2 nights staying at my parents flat midweek, so not too expensive 😬

Sorry Ng, I might have already failed my challenge.. I needed cream but I have no excuse for the yellow ( other than being very pretty).

I love the fact that you get to go to York so much, it seems like a wonderful place

Oh dear KP that didn’t take long! 😆 not sure I’m doing any better though……

I LOVE York, if it wasn’t for family and friends I would be living there full time, although sometimes I want to live there full time because of family to be honest 😁

    Spending update time:

    • Sunday £64.80 Tesco delivery
    • Monday £6.70 coffee/toast mum and I, £3.50 forest parking, £1.80 seeds for squirrel wilko, £2 headache sticks Poundland for mum and dil.
    • Tuesday £53.10 Tesco delivery
    • Weds. £2.68 bin bags
    • Thurs £5.89 advent calendars x3 £1.50 tea lights B&M
Total spend so far £141.97/£1800 Oops! Looks like £48.06 overspending so far 🙄

On the plus side I’ve had a big clear out and taken some bits to charity and sold he rest to cash for, clothes and got £35.50, I’ll put that in the £300 savings pot for an extra op pot, total now with cashback and refunds £96.58/£300.

Out today with best friend so a bit of spending as it’s my turn to pay, I didn’t however have a nice surprise Monday when mum insisted on filling the car up as I always drive!

More spending done 🙄 £14 on breakfast but I had cash to pay for it so will transfer £14 to the extra op savings pot.

    Other spending yesterday was :

    • £8.16 on McDonald’s for ds2 and dil as we went to cinema straight from work and I hadn’t cooked and wanted to treat them
    • £1.27 M&S veg
    • £14 primark on a jumper for me 🙄
I also bought a jumper for fil for Xmas using a voucher so transferred the same amount to the op saving pot as well, £143.15/£300 saved now.

Total spending now £179.40/1£1800 an overspend of £60.71, clearly if I’d not bought a jumper, mc Donald’s, coffee and breakfast I might have done better 😆 it is a nice big warm baggy striped long jumper though so I’m not sorry!

Today I’m planning in clearing out at least a few bags of clutter, stating with the loft crawl space, old quilts that have seen better days etc. I’m hoping to find some Xmas wrapping paper too, I always have a “theme” last year was brown paper and green ribbons with berry’s tied to it, this year however he theme is use up what we have form previous years, even if it’s not recyclable as it’s already been bought, hopefully most is though as I’m usually quite careful buying it.

I started clearing the loft space (3 bin bags full of old quilts 🙄) but didn’t get further as I forgot I had a video call with my friend in Thailand who is now moving home again with her son after a year! She’s split her life between the uk and there for 25 years really never really that settled in recent years, hopefully that’s it now.
Then I was asked to spend the day with dd who was given an extra last minute day off as she’s just back from another event abroad, couldn’t say no of course 😬 I hardly see her now as she’s so busy with work, she wanted to get Halloween bits for their new flat as they are having a family party, then we went to prezzo for lunch , she did offer to pay but I felt like I should, I did use a tastecard 2-4-1 on all courses but it was still £43.75 oops! Other than that £3.95 spent on bread mince pies and cream as a treat for dh 😁

    • £43.75 prezzo
    • £3.95 M@S
    • £1800/ £227.10 spent so far
Today I’m going to plan/cook as much as possible up for the weekend and maybe beyond so I can avoid a food delivery, may need a trip to get veg but hopefully not.

    😬 probably too much mfd’s!

Yesterday was a much needed no spend day finally, I spent the day clearing the tiny loft space under the eaves. Actually it was so tiny as it took two car loads to get rid of it 😱 I’ve a bit more for charity, another three bags for cash for clothes and a ton that had to be thrown, well recycled partly. Now my suitcases and summer clothes can live there so it’s lovely and organised 😁

Made Thai green curry last night which ds2 said was nice and I’d “upped my game” this is from a person that hands out praise very sparsely, so that will be cooked again now 😆 Today will be frozen veg, sausages for the meaty’s and I don’t know what for the rest as I forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer last night. Hoping to hold off on the food delivery a bit and work through what we have for a day or so longer.

Will also hopefully list some bits on eBay I found in the loft, dresses a Halloween outfit and some unwanted perfume and aftershave.

Well no listing done in the end oops! Will have to sort out in the week now. Instead dh and I went for a walk in a local country park we have not been to before and there was no parking charge 😱 it’s usually £3.50 for two hours, admittedly it was not such a nice park but handy to know.

Then he bought us lunch at the harvester (from his pocket money which is not in the challenge) which was very nice, then we used our passes and went to see the Lost King at the cinema, so a good day much needed as unless we are away I don’t see much of him 😆

Still itching to do a food shop but might get away with a top up small one today if I search the freezer first…
